Update: The notification option has been added; you can enable or disable mention and karma notifications. Although this is still experimental, it would be great if you could report a bug and/or malfunction on your end regarding the new feature.
For example, if you disable mention notification yet you still receive a notification and as well as for karma.

Btw, as for the new update, the default notification option for all the existing users was enabled for both mentions/quotes and karma notifications. You can disable/enable it on the Notifications page. There are also questions on the start/registration for these options.

Karma notifications don't seem to work.
Is there a fixed period of time that should elapse between the action and the notification? For example, no longer than 30 minutes or something like that.

You are right, i haven't receive a karma notification too since the update. Unfortunately i slept right after i made the update so i didn't fix it right away.

@PX-Z thanks for the quick update, I just noticed your post and I turned off the Mention notifications and left the Karma ones ON. If I notice that something is not working, I will definitely report it

Something is broken with your AltcoinsTalks Telegram bot.
royse and some of his cronies gave me negative karma, and I dont care about that, but I received many of the same repeated notifications, so I had to stop and block the bot.

I checked the log but i see no repeated notifications sent there, what i mean repeated notification is log messages with the same post id and your username as mentioned. It could be great if i can see a screenshot of the telegram messages/notification if you don't mind.
If there is user/s you don't want to get mentioned, ignoring user on the bot would help. Although the bot doesn't have the ignore topics yet to ignore mention from a certain topic thread.

It happens. These are the last two notifications, and the first time was a little over 6 hours ago. Maybe it's just for - karma points

Yeah, +karma notification does not happen like this maybe only for -karma. I will check into this. Thank you!

Edit:  I made a few update, i hope this will fix the issue.

That's, too many. I guess that (error) happen because of the on/off notification option i added. And i just fixed it, let me know if you happen experience it again.
