Absolutely, experience is very important in investment or in trading. Without experience, we may be unable to determine the right strategy. Of course, experience can't be obtained instantly, it takes process for years. Solving problems and facing the obstacles are the ways to gain experience. But we must survive if we want to have enough experience.

If, for example, you entered a position and it's really going in your direction, if you have seen a +$100-$500 profit, it's better to take it first.

Avoiding greed and taking little profit you made will really keep your capital going rather than being greedy and ending up in loss.

So our tp area should be realistic, not too far because the price may just return to our stop-loss. Yeap, I have also face this situation and also have seen many professional traders who were doing trading for the years they also made big mistakes in trading and the causes of the mistakes is only they were in greed. Like I saw many professional trader made big investment on the luna coin when it crashing and as well see some doing future trade.
I will say most of them were in greed and for the greed they don't even do the good analysis before making the investment. So we have to stay aways from greed specially when we were in trading or investing in crypto.
