[TOOL] Another Altcoinstalks Notification Bot!

Yeah, basically all bots are down.

I also think those notification bota are very important. We lose a lot of time revisiting our posts to know if someone quoted us.

I think some kind of native notification should be enabled in smf forums  . But neither this forum nor btt have some quoting/mentioning support.

You van try to use the search function with your name, it might worm.

This is really unfortunate, I used to get notifications from the bot and it made my job a lot easier but now I feel like I'm blind in the forum, I don't know who quoted me or what are the replies in the discussions I follow.

My bot is based in the search.

You just need to use the advanced search options.

You can add your name and recently first, it will work!

I wasn't active yesterday on this forum so that I couldn't check wise your suggestion, today I just checked with the recently first and see what you really made my day.....

My tool didn't crash. It is being blocked by the admin. He is blocking all the bots.

Did you noticed that you had to solve a captcha today to enter the forum? My bot cant do that. Bad ai

The tool works well, but at the moment it cannot be used as you used it before. The bots are not working because the administrator has enabled CloudFlare protection to prevent more serious problems, not to block anyone's bots or tools. It is a temporary problem that will be resolved in the next few days.

We also also hope so that admin will make a solution for it soon.  As we saw on bitcointalk forum all bots were working perfectly although I don't know what they were using for avoiding the DDos or others issues.

Untill now I have no other way only using the advance search options

I guess an exception or IP whitelisting will work for the bots to work. But let's just wait for the admin to fix things. I admit that the absent of the bot caused me to be idle for the moment lol, unlike before that every notification make me visit the forum more often lol.

What PX-Z says is a possible solution (and the simplest), allowing the bots' IPs to connect in a "normal" way, without having to perform captchas would be enough for the bots to do their job even with CloudFlare activated.

I'll send the admin the link to this thread so he can take a look.

This could be possible, just adding bot IP addresses to a whitelist of the server.

Another solution would be to implement the search function as a notification tool, as I already showed that this is possible and works.,.. then the forum would have its own native notification tool

I just added one new feature,  the mark as read . Which is a suggestion made by the community, a very good one.

Yes I just noticed this feature, this is a very good suggestion indeed

Adding the ability to read the quote content and adding the feature to make it readable is an addition that enriches the bot a lot and makes it a very popular tool, this will save members a lot of time instead of searching and opening several pages and so on.

To be fair i use bitmover's bot too, as it just a list of mentions while in my bot, i track board and users posts too so it needs lots of scrolling before i can see the past mentions whereas this bot is pretty straightforward.

I use your telegram bot PX-Z primarily, I love these notifications that pop up from telegram telling me that someone mentioned me or quoted me or gave me karma, also there are some boards that I follow and I get a notification when there is a new topic.

The main problem with the telegram bot is that I work on a laptop and I need to have Telegram for Windows installed and running permanently to get notifications.
Using both bots I get perfect results, thank you both
