Just posting my bet here for the Gilas vs Latvia game.

My bet:
Philippines +21.5 @1.86 vs Latvia, very risky bet considering how the Latvian team blew out Georgia but still i trust the Gilas team would cover the  spread even if they lose this game.

The Philippines is making history by breaking the 64 years of losing streak against an European team. As expected, Brownlee led the team as scored 26 points while Fajardo and Sotto chipped in 11 and 18 points respectively.

And the most important thing is our bet won.

Gilas vs Georgia

My bet:
Gilas +7.5 @1.86 vs Georgia - when the new found confidence, i hope the Gilas will shock the world once again by betting Georgia tonight. This is a very risky bet once again as the spread is not that high but i'm confident that Brownlee and the Gilas boys will show what they are made of.

Good luck to the Gilas tonight, i hope they will advance to the semi-finals of this tournament.

The Gilas lost but still they advance to the semi-finals against Brazil tomorrow night as Georgia failed to led by as much as 19 points in order for them to oust the Gilas from the tournament.

I'm 2 out of 2 on betting for the Gilas team.

Bumping due to the latest addition to the rules exclusive to PBA. I'm pretty sure you already heard/read about the approval of the 4-point line that will be implemented next season. This change could help improve our shooters but could be detrimental too. Whatever the case, coaches will have to make adjustments.

Many players (legend and active), and coaches are against it, but I guess they've already added it.
I guess it's good that the PBA will add some new things to the league. This is kind of an experimental one, and if they see it as a failure then it's easy for them to just remove it.

TBH, I don't like the addition of the 4-point play, but it is what it is. Like I said, this would be an experiment. Coaches will have to make an adjustments, and I guess other teams will come up with their own shooters that can shoot on the 4-point area. Players like Paul Lee and those three-point shooters are the ones that will benefit the most from this additional rule. This rule has pros and cons, and although the cons are weighing out the pros of it, we don't know what changes can happen with the addition of this one. Let's just hope that this new rule will not ruin the "already ruined" league.

Chris Banchero makes the first and historic 4-point play in the PBA in the second quarter of their game against Magnolia last night. That would be etched in the history books as of now. 

I failed to bet on the game last night as i'm very busy with some things in real life but will update this thread regularly along with my every bet in the on-going PBA  games.

ROS -4.5 @1.85 vs Blackwater - the handicap is low so i'm going for the favorite in this game.
NorthPort +6.5 @1.89 vs TNT - will go for the underdog since the spread is a bit high for this game.

Dyip -5.5 @1.85 vs Converge - With the addition of Christian Standhardinger and Stanly Pringle, Dyip is a little stronger this conference.
SMB -6.5 @1.93 vs Phoenix - SMB is still the favorite to win the title in this conference so i'm not going to bet against them.

Converge +9.5 @1.85 vs TNT - will go for the underdog on this game because Converge's import is an explosive player that might cause problem for the TNT side.
SMB -3.5 @1.89 vs Ginebra - will go for SMB as the spread is low while Ginebra is still having problems with chemistry with its new players.

Hopson's four points in the dying seconds of the game lifted the Converge to victory over the TNT Katropa while in the second game, Justine Brownlee lead the Ginebra Kings to victory with a career high 51 big points and handed SMB their first loss in three outings.
