How would you feel if bitcoin returned to $5k?

We shouldn't have high expectations bitcoin will drop.
It seems impossible to happen.

Yes, after the next ATH Bitcoin will enter another phase of bear market and in that time it may drop in value but it will never drop below $30k even if it reaches just $100k as its next ATH. Many of us expect that it will reach $120k or even more in the bull run and if that happens then I'm quite sure that we will miss the current price of Bitcoin a lot because it will be hard to see it at $40k levels again.

This is not feeling. These are actions. And I must say that you are pretty much naive. Think about Bitcoin more globally. If something happens, that cause price to fall so deep, why do you think Bitcoin would recover this time. Going down to $5k is like loosing 90% of current value. That is a serious drop. That is very risky to buy. Such drop might cause exit scams, worldwide ban, some critical blockchain error that cantbe solved. If tomorrow I would see $5k I would really feel disappointed a lot.

It looks like the price of Bitcoin will not fall to its base price of $5k because that will not be possible, the demand for Bitcoin on exchanges is very high and when it falls it will be hit by several orders opened by whales who want to buy Bitcoin at a cheap price, Bitcoin is also unlikely to collapse because limited supply will make the price of coins very expensive and more and more people will want to buy Bitcoin.

On the other hand, If he is telling so basic things, then he wont have guts to hold till the price goes really high. As soon as he will see his $5k turns into $7k or $10k, he would be happy enough with such price double and would immediately sell. People only in the internet are so brave and say they will hold for years. In reality, by the time they see 10-30% profit, they rush to sell.

Many buy-limit orders in the 40k-30k-20k-15k range are waiting for BTC to return to collect more for the new cycle. However, if BTC really goes to 5k USD, I will probably buy a little more BTC even though I have DCA BTC since 2022. Think of it positively as a big sale in this potential market: while BlackRock and ArkInvest aren't scared, I'm optimistic too

If the coin goes back to $5000 then I have no choice but to hold long term. Because I invested 48 thousand dollars and I can't sell my investment until my investment goes above 48 thousand dollars. But if Bitcoin ever goes below five thousand dollars I will sell my motorbike and invest in Bitcoin. Although it is unlikely to drop below five thousand dollars, I will invest if it ever drops.

I am considering buying more Bitcoin if ever the time comes while the price is low. It is a good buying opportunity for everyone that most probably takes advantage of a lot of crypto enthusiasts. However, I can also see that others may be hesitant to invest due to negative comments and fear that may come when this happens, especially when the value decreases many FUD will surely occur. Despite this, I believe in the potential of Bitcoin and am willing to take the opportunity to hold more.

In every topic like this, I am always amazed why so many people want price to go down (to buy low) and then expect a huge growth (to sell high). All such price changes (huge drop and huge grow) arent healthy for economy. And I alway wander, if they wait for price to go up so high, why they never want to buy now? Why they always want to wait, lose time. Buying at 42k and selling at 150k is also a good profit. While they wait price to drop, others earn.

Well yeah everything is possible depending on the situation but if the price of Bitcoin will fall like $5k I think that would be our chance to be one of the future millionaires or even billionaires if things goes right. This might also make us having an iron hand since we are left no choice but hodl. Lucky for those late comers who has the guts to buy at that time. I know most of us during that time  has this feeling of FUD because of the plummet that ended up with that price range.

Technically, this is a disaster and I don't pray it happens.
Some institutional investors are having Bitcoin as collateral from the Loan they borrowed, they took other assets like USDT as loan and keep bitcoin. These USTD they carry is used for other business and the Bitcoin is over collateralized, but if bitcoin price fall below some price, they will be force liquidated and they will lose their money. We have many billions of bitcoin that are you waiting as collateral.

Institutional investors has invested heavily on bitcoin, it will be a suicide for them if bitcoin play this April fool on them. We may have more wallet that will accumulate bitcoin at lower price but the reputation will be half naked because people will not see it as a reliable investment but a place of manipulation and I think we need panic more than like the Corona virus FUD to bring bitcoin to these levels. It's technically impossible for we to see that right now.

This is because 99% of people who buy Bitcoin don't buy it because they believe in it, they buy it in the hope of selling it higher and being rich in fiat, not in BTC. So they are impatient.

HODLing is like riding a rollercoaster with cryptocurrency, and it's hard when we are emotionally invested.
But when we know where we are heading, holding is much easier.
Investment BTC for the long term, and keep it straight. It's called discipline.

There are some things we just don't play with, to me a see this as an assumption which has no meaning for anything saying that bitcoin could go to $5k, what are the conditions that may warrants this to happen, we have to work by what is possible a d how it could turn a reality by the virtue of the way things are, also if the worse should happen that it comes that low, it will never turn zero like some altcoins do.

I don't see any reason or whatsoever that will cause the price of Bitcoin to fall to as low as $5k but if peradventure the price of Bitcoin drops to $5k dollars, infact there would be massive buying and holdling because a lot of people are already regretting why they didn't buy Bitcoin when the price was very much affordable then so if such opportunity comes again then there would even be so much congestion and traffic in the mempool because everyone would want to acquire Bitcoin in their portfolios

You're right, there is no reason why bitcoin will drop until $ 5K.
I ask several my friend who more long known bitcoin about this opportunity, they said no. It's impossible to happen for the next several years.
But If it happens, the will buy more and hold bitcoin until bitcoin will increase again.
Maybe for 2-3 years again.
I think I agree with this advice.

It’s funny how I see these threads before viewing them; however, you have already said what I intend to say even if I view the thread. However, if bitcoin gets back $5k, I’ll continue buying; I won’t stop, and that time will serve as an opportunity for me to accumulate more bitcoin since, as an investor, I believe bitcoin will still remain there and it will surely go back to its normal price or even go higher than what we expect, so I will wait till I get a huge profit from it for a long period of time.

LoL , It will never be possible.The highest down I have seen was in 2022, Bitcoin price came to say 15500 but was not very stable at that place. From there the price of Bitcoin went up to 48K today in 2024, you can see for yourself how much the price of Bitcoin has improved in just one year. I don't think the price of Bitcoin is supposed to drop so drastically. Bitcoin is most likely to happen in its world at the present time because 2024 is the halving.
