Nothing, because I'm not going to first think of the gender of my co-workers and of my boss?
Let me guess you grew up in a society where women should only clean cook wear clothes from head to toe and if they dare question you you are allowed to beat the crap out of them because you were born a man and them women, right? For god's sake your mother is a woman, if she was capable of raising you up why wouldn't she be capable of telling you how to do your job?

Now as a man, what will you do?

A man that is up to task will realized that its a disappointment for him to be moving from one female boss to another when he should be the head on most settings being a man, working under women could in some cases be more weird than being under a man, some women can go basserk all becasue of moeny while some men dont even mind on that, even though its not ideal in most settings except for those who dont mind.

I really don’t see it that way, I think it depends on who you encounter or work with, be it man or woman, if you work with a person who’s naturally rude, (man or woman) that’s exactly the response you’ll be getting, and same thing with when you work with a polite and respectful person. I’ve been part of firms and teams that are led by women and I didn’t really see any difference between how a man leads and how a woman does, in some cases, you can even find the women making better choices than men and vice versa.

i am a man and i am confident enough to not feel belittled by having a woman as my boss i am sure she replaced a man because she is capable i think men that do not respect women are just intimidated and are insecure if you are a real man you will work hard to eventually get to her job she is there for a reason and you also are an employee only for a reason deal with it

It's true woman in leadership position has proven that they are competent and able to take their establishment to greater height when they climb leadership position one thing that I have seen is that there's still gender based segregation that is still going on in our society that's why most men still see woman in position as inferior to them and tends to disrespect them that's why in most organisations where woman lead's there seems to be disagreement between the men and women because woman by nature don't like people disrespecting them as they like controlling and being in charge of where they lead, so any man with ego can't work with a woman in leadership position,the best one can do is to have a cordial working relationship with your boss coming being the woman

If a boss is a woman and quitting because of that is stupid in my opinion. Because it is very difficult to get a job in a good company, especially in my country where there is a huge shortage of jobs. You won't get many job offers in my country which is why i wouldn't want to leave the job even if i wanted to. I have no complaints about whoever my boss is woman. Because my boss will pay salary me due to my work skill. I have had such experience in the past and the girl bosses are much better. However i work to support my family's mule so there shouldn't be a gender biased analysis of the boss.

Specifically, I think leadership should be defined as the ability and character of individual rather than gender. At the workplace there are activities that require one to embrace leadership aspects that include expertise, fairness, and ability to coordinate a team without necessarily having to refer to gender. The female employee embarked on the program because every man or woman should be in a position to lead in their organizations if provided with chances. It is possible to develop effective cooperation and healthy relationships at work, presenting equals for all employees and giving everyone a chance to be useful. Embracing diversity can also enhance work experience, improve job related interpersonal relations, and create commonality for victory at work.

This might be an old thread but i would be loving to answer it up and will really be that be basing up into my own approach in regarding the situation. If this one happens to me about having a new boss and it is reall that a woman then i dont really see any issues with it, as long she will really be able to handle up things well and able to do on what that retired boss had been able to do so.
Its not really just that ideal on trying out to resign or quit up your job just because of such replacement. What actually does give out that kind of effect into you with such manner?
If it turned out to be a stressful work for you then this is the time or moment that you should be quitting up but as much as possible then better stay and sustain.
Finding up a job nowadys is really that too hard due to high competition.

OP, what you forget is that ''Female bosses are the actual gem in an organization''. They are empathic and very organized. When working with them, try to know your limit because they don't accept sentiment in business. Female bosses are goal-oriented because they have that desire to be seen or noticed, always. However, take a chill pill and don't allow the thought of having a new boss as a woman to weigh you down as a man. There are good women who exist and rule well in an organization when given a chance

Female leaders are actually very good and interesting when they take leadership role in organisation as they are more focused and goal oriented allot of women has actually led some key position at even the world level woman like okojo iweala former managing director of the world bank and currently the president of the world trading center is but few women with outstanding leadership qualities woman are actually good manegers when it comes to leadership

Not all women are bad. some are good.amd simple to mingle with as a leader but 99% is not good to be a boss or leader because they are harsh and not friendly. I have encountered many of them in my working places. They have transgression of anger issue. But I were him, I won't resign but work in the company for some times to see if the woman behavior is good or not. And if it is not good, it is not only him that will be affected unless it is peculiar problem between the two.

Everyone will comment base on the encountered they have with them. The once I have encountered in various offices are not encouraging. Though I am not saying that they are all bad but the few I have seen was something else.

Is this even something to be discussing? What is the problem with a woman being your boss in a company? If you have a problem with that, you are sexist. Women also have the ability to be good leaders and potential to be great leaders; it is just that based on masculinity, men always expect to be in charge. When there is the absence of a capable man to handle the leadership in top positions, a capable woman can step in and will certainly still do a good job.

For me gender doesnt matter on who will be the boss but attitude does I want a leader that will understand its employees because a good leader should inspire trust and motivate their team to work toward shared goals gender doesnt matter

If I were a man, why should I leave my previous job, because men and women are the same, if they are in a company they both earn a living for their families, it would be very stupid to leave a company just because the leader changed from a man to a woman.

Check more of the topics around here about gender! Then think of around a billion people who actually have an issue with it, mainly because of religion! Then you would be amazed how many would actually feel insulted by this, and there are many users who feel like that, but they don't want to say it because they fear the backslash!

Humans are egoistic so they can't tolerate if they are being in control of a female which is why these kind of debates happen. But whether it's a male or female they became boss only because they worked for it and has necessary skills so no one should see the gender as a thing cause there's a lot to learn in life from everyone and who knows female boss can bring whole new perception to the same thing that can be helpful in your future.
