What solution will you bring to the blockchain?
« on: January 30, 2024, 08:27:09 PM »
The crypto market is recovering very impressively, as BTC has returned to the 40K USD zone and we are witnessing the birth of many new projects in many sectors: Infrastructure, DePIN, NFT, GameFi, SocialFi, RWA, Staking, reStaking... Each project has its own solutions, its own technology, its own vision, but for me, they are not really as attractive to investors as the ICO projects in 2017-2018.

Although ICOs in 2017-2018 caused many investors to lose money, we have witnessed many bold ideas brought to the blockchain: decentralization of the power grid - medical databases - BTC mining systems - data storage - exchanges, paying traffic/education fees with crypto... Some ideas have failed but some have been realized by good projects in 2020.

At that time, I also thought about creating my own crypto project, inspired by my translation work: a translation platform for crypto projects in the blockchain/crypto market:

  • New crypto projects can order translations into multiple languages.
  • An automatic translation system will be built with the support from AI and a dictionary of terms in the blockchain/crypto industry.
  • A team of professional translators will help check the translations and edit it and send it back to the projects.
  • The community can contribute comments on the translation to receive rewards.
  • Payments are made using Translation Platform Token or ERC-20 TPT tokens.

I knew that idea was quite crazy because I personally knew nothing about programming smart contracts or managing a project. My project was never implemented but it also became a sweet memory in 2017.

I look forward to hearing from you:
  • Have you ever planned to bring an idea/solution to the blockchain?
  • What is that idea? Please elaborate.
  • Do you plan to implement it in the future?

Note:
  • My opinion was posted first in that topic, on Bitcointalk
  • I leave the source link to avoid plagiarism accusation.
  • I excluded/ included minor things from an original thread if necessary.

Lol, OP, I quite admire the effort that was put to creating this topic but after reading to this length, I  just feel that people will not give serious reply to. I don't feel members will gladly share with you which ever productive idea that they want to implement in the blockchain space. If they do, another person can actually develop the idea before they do.

Workers get their starting time stamped and recorded by scanning a card (In some factories this is done by eye scanning). However, all this is stored on a centralized recording system. If one day there is a dispute between the worker and the employer, the records can be deleted because the employer has access to them. These records should be stored in a decentralized system... I thought about this idea, but I didn't seriously consider it because I don't know enough software to do it, and I didn't think it was likely to be in demand, even if it was a coherent idea.

Thank you very much, I just present my opinion and I want to hear from everyone, even the most dreamy and unrealistic ideas. It would be great if the ideas of non-techies could be perfectly implemented by experts in the market, we would have good products to use!

Workers get their starting time stamped and recorded by scanning a card (In some factories this is done by eye scanning). However, all this is stored on a centralized recording system. A good and necessary idea to protect workers' rights. Now companies have systems to self-store attendance information and surveillance videos, it is more difficult for employers to intentionally delete data. Additionally, if that happens, the employer will not receive any benefits, they may lose their employees, and the company will go bankrupt.

If the company wants, this checking data can be sent to Filecoin's decentralized storage platform once a day or stored as NFT and sent to the company's account. No one can change the data. However, I worry about the security and privacy of the company and its employees.

1. In 2017, when looking at blockchain projects, I also wanted a platform to make the charity process transparent.

2. On this platform, everyone can provide information and participate in confirming places that need help. Donations will go directly to the recipient's account in the form of project tokens, while the donor gets a badge and promotes it in the community. All charity data is saved on the blockchain for access and verification when needed.

3. This job requires a lot of human resources and is seamlessly integrated with payment systems, so it is still just an idea, it is not known whether it can be done and when it will be done 😅

It's nice to see real crypto enthusiasm in your words. I think that not every cryptocurrency lover has thought about his project and what contribution he can make to the world of cryptocurrencies. To do this, you need to have creative thinking and the desire to really desire something, and not just observe the development of the crypto industry from the outside. I would like to do some kind of blockchain project related to art, because that's what I love. But NFTs have been invented for a long time :)

I only have needs and ideas, to get to the actual product requires a lot of effort, human resources and capital. Everything is beyond my capabilities, so I am still just an independent translator in the crypto market, not the CEO of a translation platform  ;D

NFT has been born but we still have Inscription, OpenSea was very popular until Blur appeared. I believe opportunities are everywhere, and you will find a way to profit in the NFT market. If possible, create your own NFT project, I will translate your documents into Vietnamese if you need  8)

Ok, Well, I have read about so many theft incidents and hack cases where the hackers stole a huge sum of crypto assets. I have also witnessed a few cases of crypto theft, and I have had a few experiences too. My mind has actually run through all those kinds of incidents, and if I were to bring any solution to the blockchain, I would probably design a project that can allow crypto users to write their name on their coins, so that if stollen, the thiefs cannot sell the coins until they prove that they are the real owners of those coins.

I don't know if such an idea can work, but even if it can, that will lead to crypto users releasing their information before they can sell their coins, which is also not a wise idea.

Blockchain that is related to art can switch to NFTs, but it seems that people prefer blockchains that are used for exchanges or other projects that have high selling value. Meanwhile, NFTs are only tools for collections so it might be a consideration for people to continue using NFTs or No.

A lot of efforts have already been made in scalability and solving fees issues, which I think we need to implement the solutions well and not look for new solutions. Therefore, the cryptocurrency market lacks pioneering projects in DEXs and privacy. All the current projects claim to be decentralized and we hear that they have been hacked or that they are private coins, but customer transfers can be tracked. The development of a DEX will effectively contribute to strengthening cryptocurrencies against regulations, something that will attract demand and profits in the future.

I also agree with you, so we can think of a project focused on helping DEXs test smart contracts and optimize them: find bugs, fix them, test attacks, complete and provide reports to the community. I think this task is being done very well by CertiK - Securing The Web3 World.

Some other projects can monitor on-chain activities to alert users and dev teams about risks related to hackers to avoid attacks and minimize damage.

Yes, you are absolutely right. Although there are already some Dex for other smart chain like BSC and ETH whch allows direct wallet swap from on token to another but for the Bitcoin blockchain, there is the bisque exchange which doesn't require KYC but your point is good if it will be possible to actually develop a great DEX that can allow the easy conversation of Bitcoin to Fiat or any local currency without any form of KYC.

DEX is a solution that does not require KYC to carry out transactions.  Some CEXs still don't require KYC for transactions within certain limits.  So if we make transactions on CEX with a small nominal amount, KYC is not a problem.  To be honest, I don't like KYC because crypto is anonymous and no one dares to guarantee that our data will be safe.

However, there is a weakness for the DEX market, which does not use KYC. Sometimes there are a lot of problems, and it is always targeted by the government. So far, in several countries that provide exchange services, it is mandatory to carry out KYC. In fact, with KYC, everything can be safer, even though cryptocurrency transactions are no longer possible. anonymous again, but at least the company knows who owns the cryptocurrency address used for transactions.

Traders use DEX markets not only because of privacy, but sometimes because of the fear of misusing personal data or providing it to a third party, or the platform’s practices with that data, or even that, despite your submitting all the documents, the funds are still in their possession and they can confiscate it from you for any reason and the lack of a legal framework while in the case of the DEX market there is less possibility of fraud and less possibility of losing your money, the real problem remains in the availability of liquidity and fees.
