Are you asking this question because you don’t know the answer or because you’re seeking for the opinion of the general public because I’m very sure that everyone or should I say every gambler knows that gambling has the ability to affect one’s mental health, especially when the gambling has become a problem for you and is leading or has already led to addiction. When a gambler can no more make rational gambling decisions when gambling and this could cause him to lose money regularly to gambling, nothing causes a mental strain or stress more to a gambler than when he loses more than he initially intended to lose, and especially when the money was initially meant for something else and there’s no way to get the money back, this would automatically put him under pressure and through mental stress. And we already know this sort of things happen to gamblers everyday when they’re struggling with addiction.

You are not wrong because a lot of things can actually affect our mental health, and gambling, especially gambling too often, can be one of those things that can make the mental health of an individual poor or affected. To avoid getting to a level where your mental health declines up to the level where it starts causing you problems as well as problems with your relationship with your family and friends, you should always take out time to pause and reevaluate your gambling activities so that you can remain a responsible gambler who gambles within his or her limits.
Well, gambling involves winning and losing. As long as the gambler is betting, there is stress in him. Which naturally can be a gambler's health risk. But it takes on a larger dimension when a gambler tries to manage gambling beyond his ability. There are some gamblers who gamble even with borrowed money after losing their own money, in which case those gamblers have a high chance of losing. Many fail to control their depression or interpersonal stress, which can increase the gambler's health risks. But if one conducts controlled gambling and sets a limit on gambling then gambling may not be a major problem.

Putting yourself out of control in gambling comes with a lot of risk. Because when he becomes addicted to gambling and gets out of control he starts gambling beyond his means, which leads him to big losses. Moreover, most of the gamblers these days are addicted to gambling, very few gamble just for entertainment. Especially nowadays even minor boys are getting addicted to gambling which is very harmful to our society. Everyone should be aware in this regard.

Yeah we all know that everyone can fall for being a addicted gambler. But the thing is how it affects our mind. Obviously, it's has bad effect as our judgement are clouded because all we think is gambling and we can't function as normal human being.

I have seen this kind of effects to some, specially if they have big loses, they don't want to get out of their bed and interact with other people and all day, they think of going back to recover what he have lost and so that is a very dangerous mindset, as it is the ill effects of gambling.

Yes, Gambling can affect mental health because once you get addicted you will experience the negative effects of it especially on mental health It can cause stress, loss of control over gambling, or worse depression. A person may also struggle with mood swings, feeling happy when they win but frustrated or angry when they lose, and once they started losing streak their mental state will get worsen.

The mentality of an addict will be really affected, because there is something that will be stuck in their brain and it causes anxiety or whatever, exactly as you said.

Usually all addicts will feel that, not only in gambling addiction, but it is for all forms of addiction that we know so far. This may also be said to be a disease in health and that is why we recommend for those who are addicted to go to an expert.
True and it will forever create a negative effect to that specific individual if not treated or rehabilitated. At first it will ruin their apetite and their physical health will deteriorate and then they will become moody and if poor they will begin to steal and do stupid things and will soon become agressive that is ehy if left untreated some of them became homeless and will develop a mental disorder that may end them up to mental hospital and unfortunately for some that has no family and relatives they are roaming in the streets.
Sooner or later it will eat away at them, both physically and mentally, so that's why we keep talking about gambling responsibly. Even though we also gamble, the difference is that we are able to be responsible for what we do.

I personally also keep trying to stay on the right path, I mean even though we are now responsible, it doesn't mean we are free from the risk of addiction. So we also have to be careful.

...If you win by gambling early on, it will release dopamine in your brain. As a result you will try to play more later. This is how it will make you addicted. It affects the mental health of those who gamble regularly. It acts as an arousal during play, causing anxiety. As we feel before the exam. If regular gamblers stop suddenly, it can affect their mental health. What is your opinion?
It is, that those who greedily gamble will suffer sooner or later. It sometimes consumes life when too much mental issues and one can't handle the burden. There are several cases here in my area that just a few months ago because of gambling addiction, particularly on slots, the most advertised gambling game at that time.

Gambling is usually played as a form of entertainment. But nowadays many people want to adopt it as a means of earning money. If you win by gambling early on, it will release dopamine in your brain. As a result you will try to play more later. This is how it will make you addicted. It affects the mental health of those who gamble regularly. It acts as an arousal during play, causing anxiety. As we feel before the exam. If regular gamblers stop suddenly, it can affect their mental health. What is your opinion?
That's the problem right now (bolded text). Most of the gamblers are looking at gambling as their way to make more money and because of that, losing too much money in gambling for them would be a problem for some reasons. Because of this kind of mindset, it would start changing yourself, your mental and maybe physical health as well. It can also change your relationship with your family, friends and other people. You might feel stressed, then the anxiety and finally depressed especially when you lost too much money on gambling.

Overall, gambling in general affect mental health in different ways. It will just depend on the person itself.

Gambling have the potentials to affect the mental health of a gambler. Gambling puts its victim in perpetual fear.untill the game ends the heart of the Gambler is at risk. The Gambler is unstable hoping and wishing for positive outcomes. There are established cases where gamblers slum and die especially when a slip that was almost coming through turns otherwise.

When someone relies too much on gambling he will face negative effect from gambling, that means if someone becomes too eager to win that increases the risk of losing at some point. A gambler should keep gambling as a form of entertainment, but when he becomes overly optimistic, he is exposed to more and more losses. In this way, he is exposed to a certain level of risk. Excessive gambling not only causes mental health problems but also bring other problems.

It's no longer a brainer that too much gambling leads to addiction and it can affect one's mental health if one doesn't learn to minimize it by meeting therapists to guide them on ways to stop gambling addiction.

Nothing triggers addiction to gambling when someone goes into it with the mind for money-making. That step alone has made the majority of gamblers get caught easily because their focus is on money, not on gambling for fun.

It affects mental health where one gambles with the thought of making it through gambling, investing all his money there and loosing it accordingly. It really affects.

Sometimes seeing incidents like this is very unfortunate if they experience defeat, and the one who can help is themselves, how to organize their lives again, besides that the role of the family also has a big influence on their recovery.

Agree, if things won't go as plan then it should affect us mentally. If it involves a lot of money then for sure you will be affected mentally so better to think twice or thrice before putting large amount of money into gambling so that we will not be affected mentally.
