It is important to note that the power of the countries may not be similar in most fields, but this does not mean that they do not also play a crucial role. Every nation has it’s own agenda as far as preserving economic, political and military relations are concerned. International relations contain aspects of cooperation and conflict due to self interest regardless of the nature or cause of the interest. Some situations are bilateral in the event that some nations go warlike and aggressive against each other while some other nations take a more tactical and concealed position. According to the given context, people of the world have never had a united vision of the world but there has always been some power distribution in the world which is shifting from one region to the other.

What I didn't like about the Qatar World Cup were the famous bans, even though I didn't think it was good that they banned the Russian team , the Athletes and the people are not to blame for what the politicians do.

to be fair there are competitive leagues that have countries as the participators so if your country wins in football against another country, it is nation's pride and in a way allows the citizens of the winning country to boast about how good their country is

This is normal to me, which is why there are rules in the game to prevent players from going too far and causing damage to other players. In fact, the beauty of the game lies in its rules.

You are absolutely right, although look at something that is happening right now, and this arose from the controversy that Neymar JKr was removed or called up from the Brazilian national team, supposedly because the player had an injury that has not let him play , however some Brazilian media allege that there are too many secrets in the national team, it is said that it is not only because of that but because of Ney's scandals, and that is something that does not suit them to have a Player who has those types of problems within the national team.

Does facilitating a long term conflict among countries not unite the world? It obviously does. The world is a system, and when one component of the system fails, it has an impact on the system's overall function. So it is in the global system. When a region or some countries are in conflict, it affects world peace and brings tension to the global arena.

Even though a Ice Hockey game is organized to unite Russia and USA that still goes a long way to justify the importance of sports for unity in the world system. I have witness enemies turned friends during a sports game.

I made some research about the topic both in the forum and Google Search Engine but I didn't see any related topic as well but if anyone noticed that this topic has been discussed here before then call my attention. But I know that it is at other forum.
Yes let go back to the course of discussion. This has been an argument for group of people across the globe and many have been saying that money is the only thing that making the the world to be united but in my own POV football is also uniting the world. I saw a social media post that, two countries were fighting and a football match was fixed for the two countries to play as regional competition and a popular footballer from one of the country asked his country to go and play the match in the other country and asked the other country soldiers to drop their weapons and they did and the match was played and after the match the war between the two countries also ended. So from your observation which of the two really Unite the World. Football or Money.

Money d not unite, it scatters, imagine brothers killing each other just to get the wealth of the other. This is not the case in football, even enemies comes together to watch a football match especially when there are major competitions like the Champions League, Europa League, World Cup etc. People from all over the world irrespective of their race or ethnic groups gathers together as spectators in the stadium to cheer up their teams.
I remember the last world cup in 2022 where Argentina played against France in the finals of the world cup, I went to a viewing center to watch it, I didn't even mind if the person beside me was a friend or an enemy, I simply stayed and enjoyed every moment of the match even unto the penalty shootout.

Exactly! Football will always take the lead. Money has never united the world and is not an agent of unity. The world does not have a single currency that binds them so how can it unite the world. I have never heard of money festival so money cannot bring the world together.

Football will always be first in every sense to make friends and unite, yes, that is the most important thing, but we cannot stop talking about the fact that in football it is a sport in which unfortunately FIFA and the organizations that have it do exist corruption , even with the VAR there is corruption, it is a profitable business, there is a lot of money involved, but I have not yet seen transparency and I think that many in the world also agree with that, and everyone wants to have the money , then that is where all the corruption is born.

Exactly. This has been an argument for some times now and many believed that it is Money that unite the world but in real life situation it is football because whenever two strong teams played, we see people in different countries and ethnicity coming together to watch and support their club or team. Like in the case of World Cup, all the countries travel from their countries to the Stadiums to watch those games and those who didn't travel watched the games from home to it makes people to unite more. Well everyone has their reasons supporting money or football.
