A few days ago I bought some Solana
The price has stabilized, but I believe that in a matter of a few days or weeks the price may go up again
The target for these SOL I bought is around 300 dollars, but in the meantime they're working on DeFi for me hehehe
It's been a while since I exchanged USD for SOL

Solana could possibly go up to $300 next year if there is an altcoin season, which many people say the real altcoin season is in 2025 but we can't fully see that from now on.
But buying solana at around $220 is still cheap and can touch again to $260 in a few weeks time because now the market is trending up again.

Yeah, once the price of Bitcoin stabilizes, at least for five days, many altcoins will start moving up even Sol token is waiting on this chances. I am hoping that Sol token will hit another All time High this year, and there are indications that the crypto market is loading for a bullish momentum, I think that many traders might have taken positions

Towards the end of 2024, Solana showcased a strong strength with the  Bitcoin trends, i am expecting the same strength in early 2025 as we wait the Donald Trump's inauguration to kick start a new beginning of a Bull run in my opinion.

Yeah, once the price of Bitcoin stabilizes, at least for five days, many altcoins will start moving up even Sol token is waiting on this chances. I am hoping that Sol token will hit another All time High this year, and there are indications that the crypto market is loading for a bullish momentum, I think that many traders might have taken positions

There's a reasonable chance of a Solana ETF being approved and favoring the price

High volatility in the market and BTC holding up very well

I haven't sold any Solana yet. I'm confident it could reach 300 dollars, but I'm still not sure if I'll sell as my SOL are all in DeFi projects
And to think that 1 week ago it had fallen to 175 dollars, it was an excellent opportunity to accumulate more

I don't have any experience with staking SOL, but this is one of the tokens that I will buy during the bear market and will stake it as I'm holding it to gain more profit plus capital appreciation as well when the next bull market happens. Each protocol is different, there isn't exactly a minimum amount

I would think that 10.51% could be paid off for a while without an issue.

I always look at market rates on fiat and double them ie the rate on us cash is near 5% 2x that is 10%. so anyone offering a lot more than 10% is likely to cut and run.

As the APY is variable, it can have some peaks, but from what I use, most of Solana's stakes or lending are in this 8 to 11% range
If you want to hold the SOL for a long time, it may be a good solution instead of just holding it, as there is also the possible appreciation of the currency.
Always bear in mind that there are risks of not having custody of them

I don't do SOLANA staking but invest in SOL. Because it has a good future. SOL is a very commendable coin in many aspects. And their ecosystem is very good so whales are very interested in SOL. And even though there are many chains, Donald Trump's meme coin, Official Trump Coin, is also created on the SOL chain. But those who have bought SOL for long term holding and will hold it for a long time can do staking because increasing the SOL amount by staking from free holding will not be bad.
