The future of Ethereum in 2024?

I believe that Ethereum has the potential to reach a new ATH next year. The question is, what price will it reach? Its previous ATH was $4,891. Could it hit $8,000 next year? That's uncertain. I truly hope it does, as that would provide huge profits for its investors. Since the recent upward trend began after Trump's victory as US president, the whole market has been bullish, and Ethereum has given a high price of $3,747. I think it could reach around $4,000 by the end of the year.

Unfortunately, the last of 2024 never went so well for both Bitcoin and Ethereum but in terms of potential they two still got it but there must be a big bull run to really materialize for ETH to reach a new ATH. As we are now stating the first week of the first month of 2025, there remains that hopeful feeling that the market will catch up and will just magically be back on its path to the MOON. I am a firm believer in BTC and ETH and that we just need some time for things to really turn around and soon we will all be rejoicing.

I think bitcoin is indeed correcting and this is not something strange for bitcoin, it just corrects for a moment and continues to rise again and corrects again and this is indeed not yet. bitcoin will create its latest ATH and you need to be patient and there is no need to worry.

We only can guess about the potential highest price to reach. People said BTC to $150k, $180k, or $200k. But I think people are too optimistic about the peak of Bitcoin price. For ETH, I don't think it will be above $4k during DT inauguration.

I'm one of them who still believe much in ETH. Although it's not that much, but for me it's enough for the need to take profits later. I don't even have TON, it's quite late to buy and the price increase is not that significant. Some altcoins are also still owned, from top coins to shit coins from bounty in the past lol

The point is when we invest in top coins, the results and our enthusiasm for hoping for bigger hopes are very high, while for shit coins, just being able to sell them is already very good.

Well, that strategy will work especially this year that the market is expected to be bullish. However, I'm leaning towards the fact that I might postpone my selling and instead of selling all of it at Q1-Q2 (like you), I might move it to around 2nd quarter to around the 2nd half of the year.

Why? I don't know, but I have this feeling that the movement of Bitcoin in 2021 will somehow be duplicated or at least will have the same movement this year. A pump in the 1st half followed by a huge dump and then a huge pump again in the 2nd half of the year. It might not happen the same month though, but I expect that the same will happen... or who knows. We might see something we have never seen before.
