Fg never said anything concerning the price of bitcoin - all they did was to say that merchants shouldn’t sell dollars more than 1,800 using binance and some other exchange, they never said bitcoin shouldn’t be sold more than 100 million naira if the price eventually goes up.

Even if the price of dollars goes down to 1,600 and the price of bitcoin increases to 65,000 dollars (if converted to naira it would be more than a 100 million for a bitcoin) and in this case the point you made in your post won’t work cause traders won’t because some stupid fg said they shouldn’t sell above a certain price then start selling at a loss. Btw, you should remember that bitcoin is decentralized.

Bitcoin at 100M Naira is far behind what we are hoping to see in the future when the price of Bitcoin takes a massive bull run and following how the Naira equivalent to dollar in the black market is increasing every day, we might even exceed 200M by then. Our goal should be focused on investing, to be part of those who will profit when the time comes.

It has been my observation that with the increased value of Bitcoin and a weakening Naira, I personally take the view that our only focal point is to purchase with the aim of making a gain in the future. it's already above a million at least I think it has been for quite a very long time now. The reason for the whole thing is inflation is actually hitting hard ok our economy and our economy turns out to be dependent on things that aren't of much revenue to the world again it's more like the things we make our major source of income has now become of lesser value to the world and that's of course crude oil.

Very funny though. It is unfortunate that we do not have a strong currency in the naira and it has taken a down tone in our economy which ought not to be.  It is true that bitcoin was far much below the current price early this year but the utility value drove it high to this current price it rallies. However, the naira value has no deal with the bitcoin so the naira is on its own and can be the end exchange point for any user who wants it in naira equivalent.
