Gambling is not a steady source of income, but it can make someone financially stable if after a big win the person properly invests the money in things that will generate a steady source of income for them. If after winning a huge amount of money the person does not invest the money but just decides to keep gambling believing more win come, financial stability will never be achieved in that case through gambling.

No matter how big a gambler wins unless he decides to quit gambling I doubt if he can achieve financial stability because a gambler who wins big is likely to start staking big and in gambling you are more likely to loose more than you win

Even thought that is true that people can be  Millionaire by gambling but we have also remind that not all the people are having Jackpot or becoming Millionaire's.  If there will be  million people who are doing  betting form there the one person will be on the jackpot winner. It's also possible that you've been wagering your entire life but haven't won the jackpot. And that's not unusual.

And even then you won jackpot that doesn't mean that you will hav the financially stable. Gambling can also make your jackpot to zero in once.

When you subtract $30 from $500, you will be left with $470 aggregate, that's a win.

There is no way you will win huge sum of money and you will blindly go back and bet away that money again. Unless you are not gambling and financially woke, and if that's the case, you will make nothing from gambling, it's all about calculated risk.
