Is it easy for an addicted gambler to stake wisely and learn how to spend his money? If it is easy then such a person is not yet addicted. The problem with addiction lies in the fact that even when you know that you are not gambling wisely yet, you find it difficult to stop. Controlling addiction is not a one-day program it takes time. I advocate that people should be taught not to be addicted because that appears easier than trying to help an addict escape addiction.
