Well, I think whether it's motivated by greed or not, at the end of the day the main motivation is money. When you develop too much love for money, you start to do things you don't want to even try in the first place. They gamble too much that they will be playing and putting money yet they will not be making any money from it, just wasting their precious time.

There is nothing bad when you gamble for money, after all even the casino are there for the same money but a gambler has to moderate their love for money and focus on how to win game, that way winning games will win you money.

I am not a gambler and am not interested in gambling even though there are many gamblers in my environment, but seeing them go bankrupt because of gambling makes me increasingly distance myself from gambling and I choose to become a trader because it is more realistic by relying on analysis and strategy we can get profit.
