You do not give what you do not have. If you can not afford data, you will not be able to gamble much in local shops because you do not have any money. Gambling requires money. It's already tipping as online games have been on the rise since the pandemic, and I have seen people who don't want to go to land based casinos because of many reasons, are now playing online because it is very convenient for them.

I think it's easy to hide under the advantage of been online and anonymous gambling since nobody see you but even offline gambling, there are much by number of people that gamble offline and they know how to hide it from the public, from the close friends and families and also from their self, you will never know when they makes moves to go and gamble but they know how to do it secretly even when they are addicted to it.
