Can we get a post count?

Hello Admin and staff, would it be possible to get a post count on our profiles? I'm currently using activity when adding people to a sig campaign, but that's not an accurate post count. I will manually be checking users posts, but a post count would still help.

It's a highly needed feature for the forum, I also suggest you to rethink about that activity freeze. The forum is growing at a rapid rate and such activity stops could discourage some members.

Why? It is a regular practice on different forums that you should meet some criteria before ranking up. Here activity freeze is used as a way of implementation of this. BTT for instance also has activity freeze and even if it is not so popular, most users are not so upset with it.

There is a harder way to know the exact number: go to the users profile → Show Posts → go to the bottom of the last page, the last post will have the number you need (it is 190 for your account at the moment). Maybe it will help as a temporary decision.

That's true mate because I noticed this too, but I also feel if users are let to grow account on rapid rate it can also have negative effect because most spammers would just be after growing their accounts here because of the simplicity of it and possibly fill the forum with shitposts and spam.

But on the other hand, the post count issue will indeed help because even when applying for the campaign some users had to correct many users actually using their activities as post count which myself was also one although I asked for guidance and was told it can only be checked manually which is really not that cool.

It won't be bad at all if the post count was available but most people count number of posts by looking at the activity of the member and that becomes a problem when someone's activity is frozen.

You have a valid point but at least this activity freezing function should be disabled on the profiles of those users who make good quality posts and contribute helpful information on the forum.

The function should be enabled for low rank accounts only who might make spam posts in order to rank up but the high rank members aren't that much interested in ranking up and if they face that activity freeze then they somehow get hurt.

BTT has no activity freeze. You can't rank up if you don't have enough merits, but your activity is still counting and growing (updated every 14 days). It is a different system.

That would be a lot of work. The standard rule should be applied to anyone and not only apply to selected users just because they are low rank or posting low quality. Including or exclusion from the rules might also result in discrimination against low-ranking accounts even when some of them can at least contribute to the forum by giving some helpful information. What we can do is, if we see any out of topic posts or low-quality posts that will not contribute to anyone in this forum, report it.

Ok, there is a little confusion here for teleporting accounts, because the minimum number of posts for each rank was transferred. However, I guess it could be enough as a post count in campaigns.

It is somewhat easy to make a script that will display the total posts in the user profile, making a bot do what Jokers suggested...
However I think it is even easier for the admin to do so, using less server resources.

Yes, it's the statistics page, i see icopress use that for posts counts too based on the profile urls on his campaign's spreadsheets. Then just count the posts on history page for manual checking weekly.

I vote for post count to be added here, but I think teleported bitcointalk members should be blamed for this problem and delay 
If you take many teleportation shortcuts you are eventually going to have some issues in future.
Good that we didnt all teleport trust ratings.

In this case I'll have to disagree with you. There's a rule set for the members who are below rank Sr, which simply doesn't allow them to send + or - karma and if a similar rule may be applied for activity freezing then things could be much better for everyone. I believe setting something similar won't be a lot of work and it can be done much faster than post counting feature.

You said the truth, I also faced a little difficulty with my campaign last week. I wanted to create a topic like this last week but I forgot to create that. I think post count or activity should be dedicated to this forum and teleportation account.
I have tried PX-Z's tools, but if he had created a tool like ninjastic.space  then for campaign management we wouldn't have needed anything else.
