Is it right for a lady to gamble ?

In my opinion, why not anyone can gamble for gambling is a source of entertainment but we must remember the effects of gambling addiction and how it will affect our lives and may we gamble responsibly where we set clear boundaries like how much time and money we're willing to spend.

I think the people who gamble for fun, they won't have a big chance to be addicted. It is because they are not too obsessed to gain money from gambling. They also don't spend too much time in gambling. So, the chance for an excessive gambling is just quite small.

Yes, if a person does not have much interest to gain from gambling then he can gamble naturally. There are many people who spend their free time or who live alone enjoy gambling for a short period of time. I have seen few gamblers who do not regret losing gambling and if they win they do not use the money to support their family or their personal work. Gambling will never bring anything bad for those gamblers.

I also agree with you, those gamblers who gamble without the desire of extra profit while gambling, do not become addicted to gambling very easily. They don't pay much attention to winning or losing gambling, they only gamble for fun, they keep themselves under control, and they don't have the attitude that they have to make money from gambling, anyway. There are many women who are experienced gamblers, but they are not completely addicted to gambling. There are many women who are not easily addicted to gambling, and there are many men who are easily addicted to gambling.

There are many women who have strong self-control and do not get addicted to anything easily. They take every step thoughtfully. Yes, of course you are right and in my opinion above I am not talking about absolutely all women. After all, there are always exceptions and of course there are those who do not succumb to addiction very easily. It depends on the character and upbringing. This is an issue of morality and morality is based on jurisdiction. That is, what is accepted in a country might be unaccepted in another country and vice versa. The legislation on gambling did not prohibit a lady from gambling. Only a minor (a person below 18 years) is prohibited from gambling. The rationality behind gambling is to bring pleasure and happiness to people and if this is the sole reason why people should gamble then there is no wrong for a female to gamble because she also desires pleasure and happiness. It is totally out of place to say that gambling is a male thing. Is there any law which confirms it is a male thing? I have searched and I couldn’t find any law in this regard so it is misleading to say that gambling is a male thing. The only thing I know is that it is common to see more males in some form of gambling than females like Sports betting and it is also common to see women playing Bingo than you see men. This justifies that there is nothing wrong with a lady gambling.

It's just a societal view of it, gambling isn't meant for a specific gender but  people look at ladies that gamble differently. It's not accepted by a lot of people and a lot of men that seek to get married wouldn't want to settle down with women like this because of their lifestyle, they believe that women like this are not responsible enough to take care of the family whereas that might not be entirely true because you can't judge a womans character and conduct based on the fact that she's a gambler. Another reason why people don't accept the idea of women gambling is the psychological aspects of it, they weren't made to deal with such pressure and the fact that they also act based on their emotions too can make them do a lot of stupid things but like I said it's just a societal view and idea

When I asked another friend of mine, he told me that just as cooking in the house is feminine, gambling is for only men too.

If there's some studies about that men does have that kind of not able to control themselves towards gambling then this one isnt prove out considering that men are really that mostly the ones who do involved with and this is why we would really be able to have such focus into men. Women are really that hating up that much on losing money and this is why they would really be skipping out on doing or dealing with it. Women are allowed to gamble as long as they can position themselves as responsible gamblers and unlike most people who fall too deep into gambling and become addicted, currently many women gamble casually without caring about other people talking badly about them because they use their own money so it's up to them whether they use it for gambling or other things.

Women are allowed to gamble as long as they can position themselves as responsible gamblers and unlike most people who fall too deep into gambling and become addicted, currently many women gamble casually without caring about other people talking badly about them because they use their own money so it's up to them whether they use it for gambling or other things.

That's true. Often women want equal rights and of course we are happy to remove all restrictions for them. But nature made them emotional, and that's how it works. That's why women are impulsive, it's hard for them to stop, of course I'm not talking about everyone but about a minority.

different countries, different cities, so different laws apply, in my city, women who gamble are labeled as trash because women are considered to be pure and far from criminal acts, but in my personal view, women should not gamble, unless they is someone who has a stable income, an old woman or someone who is beyond help.

just imagine your sister, or the woman you love, wants to gamble, do you allow them, of course not, you must be afraid of what will happen to them in the future, so don't allow the women you know to gamble, forbid them as much as you can.

It all boils down to societal standards and expectations, in your country I think it's quite extreme.here in my country women now gamble and it's almost normalized, only a few percentage of people still see those women who indulge in it as irresponsible women. I don't think there's anything wrong with just gambling to get lucky in a moderate way, gambling can only become toxic when you get affected by the negative impacts of it. Gambling isn't gender based anyone can do it but society doesn't condone women gambling.

We are all free to gamble as long as it is not forbidden or as long as we have extra money or we are responsible enough because if not then we can be very prone to addiction and severe losses. I don’t think I have ever seen any female gambler before, all that I have seen are just random accounts with feminine username on different gambling site but I have never come across anyone in real life.
