On a normal, it is the responsibility of the medical doctor to properly explain the situation, processes and risk involved in such act so that the person who wants to carry out the abortion would know what they stand to face if anything happens. Sometimes, when a lady makes up her mind to do something, she would go to extra length to do it and in this case, no matter how the Doctor would say it to frighten her, her mind is already made up to do it.
