Passions? I don't think it will be. However, it will all depend on each individual who trades. Maybe, there are indeed some people who gamble because of passion. so they gamble more often, both online and offline. And this makes them feel very satisfied and happy if they can do it. It's like we do things that we really like.
So because they consider this a passion, it makes them able to understand what to do and avoid in gambling, so that they don't fall into addiction to gambling.

But the truth is, how many people do it because of passion? I'm not sure it will be much. Maybe we'll find a little something, if gambling is just for fun

However, in reality, there are many people out there who are caught in gambling addiction. Yes, sometimes someone becomes unaware that they are addicted to gambling. Because that only makes them really happy with gambling and it's like they don't want to be separated from gambling, and always feel curious. until finally, it's the underdog.

However, hopefully we will be kept away from gambling addiction, which is just gambling for fun. Think of it like that, so this will keep us under control when gambling.

If gambling becomes a passion it will already become a problem because that means that you are already addicted and unable to control yourself and the emotions you have towards gambling. Gambling should be for fun, not your only activity for fun, it should not be a career, it should not be a passion or something you have uncontrollable feelings towards.

It can be a passion, it can be an addiction, or it can be both.

I mean there are some gamblers out there who are only gambling because they want to be entertained while watching sports games (assuming they are doing sports bets). On the other hand, there are some gamblers out there who unfortunately, gambling because they want more money. As much as I don't want gamblers to see gambling like this, we can't blame them on how they see it. At the end of the day, your chances of winning in gambling is very low that for me, it wasn't worth it to spend money.

Obviously, there are some gamblers out there who don't even care if they lose their money in gambling because... they don't care that's all.

Gambling is as much as you take it to be. If you are addicted to gambling then gambling will be a place of many emotions for you and you will not be able to live without gambling. On the other hand, if you gamble without becoming addicted to gambling, you will have complete control over gambling and you can gamble responsibly. Gamblers who become addicted to gambling do not come out of the addiction very easily and the gambler becomes financially and emotionally weak.  Gambling addiction is definitely a bad thing and we should always try to avoid this bad thing.

For me, gambling is the combination of all that as it depends on our own personal preferences whether we do it for fun, passion, addiction, source of income and many others. It is just up to us on how we see it ourselves.

Meaning, it's all just the same.
Having a passion means you have a strong emotion towards gambling or vice versa if you are addicted to gambling. It's just using a different word but the feeling, the meaning, and how it can be seen in the naked eye of a person, it's just the same. That is when we can say that it's up to us how we identify it ourselves.

To my own believe I think gambling is an addiction because it always make you to have a winnng spirit of always wanting to make a possible outcome from it, always wanting to stake high and win high.

Gambling is a game, whether it is addictive or not, in my opinion it depends on ourselves whether we can restrain and control ourselves in gambling or not. Our goals in gambling also determine our future steps.

Make gambling a place to have fun, that is one way to prevent the city from becoming addicted to gambling. As long as we can control ourselves, we can minimize addiction. So we must be able to do that as much as possible.

There is no passion in gambling. What fuels gambling is the reason behind it. A gambler who gamble for the sake of making money, will gamble not because of passion but because he wants to earn from it. When you do something out of passion, you will always be happy regardless of the outcome because doing it brings happiness and fulfilment.

This is different for most gamblers. When gamblers lose money they are not happy. Most of them especially the addicted gambler even transfer aggression to a third party. A person with passion cannot display such character. Thus, gambling is not a thing of passion.

I think in some ways gambling can be considered a passion as well as an addiction. It really depends on how often you are gambling, how much money you are losing, if you put gambling above everything.

When it comes to passion, some can be passionate about a sports team or a certain sport and gambling on it has just become a hobby for them. They aren't betting a lot and they like the little jolt of excitement when they have a couple dollars on a game.

Each person is individual and if something is fun or passion for one, it might be an addiction for other. For example, gambling once a year during football championship and spending all the money on the football might be an addiction. When other gamble daily in sports betting and that person simply likes to watch sports and place bets. As well as people search and expect different things from gambling.

Some people just believe if they don't place a bet, they'll never make it in life and to some, they can't stay without visiting the bet-shop for a day, and this leads me to my second question:

because it seems odd to just say they cannot stay without visiting.

I can tell of a few persons, who have even sacrifice their school fees, house rent, and even business money just to gamble with it, but even after placing a bet, they still loose. Are these guys even normal at all?

you should face your own problem , because you seems to be having issues in their activities when that
is their money and for them to decide where to bet and spend.

I have also known some people who are like this but I think this is not normal anymore and they be addicted to gambling or is this what they called "compulsive gamblers?

Personally, i experienced this scenario but it was water under the bridge now as i have learned my lessons in gambling, no matter how you chased your losses, if you are not lucky that day, you still will lose.

But on the other hand we can measure whether it is their pleasure or it has become an addiction for them. For example, when someone gambles with money they can afford to lose, that is passion in my opinion. However, if they are out of control and make their economy fall apart, it is an addiction.

Pleasure and addiction are different, that's probably what we can see from that person. And actually what makes the difference is when we look at what their financial condition is like after gambling.

I agree. When it comes to gambling, I believe that what we call passion is actually addiction. Passion requires an individual to engage in an activity frequently which is what addiction stands for when it has to do with gambling. Passion only promotes happiness but that is different with gambling.

The moment an individual decides to gamble frequently, he will get the reverse of happiness which makes it a problem and not a passion. Bulk of the problems faced by a gambler is attributed to addiction and not passion. In fact, I'm of the opinion that there is no such thing as passion as long as gambling is concerned.
