Info hints on badges

Here we discussed The dots below username, what kind of badge is it?
We received partial explanations, perhaps not complete. Later, one user added a link to a similar discussion. Now we have additional new reputation dots with some users, I believe that there will be more over time.

I would suggest, if feasible, implementing some kind of info hints when the user hovers mouse pointers on the specific badge. We see many badges under the username, but to understand how a certain credit was obtained, it is necessary to search the forum for more information.

I suppose the admin could make those quality bar points have a link (in the side profile of the users who have those points) to the post explaining what each point means, or simply showing the quality of each point. This way we wouldn't have to consult the same thread every time we need information or remember what each color is, although the latter is not complicated either.

It seems to me a logical and positive proposal.

I was more interested in the feasibility of the proposal presented in the opening of the topic. It would be very useful to have this kind of info, I've been here for a few months and I still don't understand all the badges here.

So that means green and blue bars will have some additional benefits in forum compared to normal members without any bar?
I like the idea but I would suggest creating open discussion about changes like this, so we can hear what community thinks about that.

I think you have to keep in mind that this forum just became active again in the last few months. Prior to the new year, lots of accounts went inactive and hadn't visited in months so the admin probably didn't have a lot of changes in his mind that would be worth implementing.

Now, it's an active and thriving forum and there's a billion things to do. The admin has new ideas he wants to add, but it takes time. Anything added will probably have an explanation somewhere, but i agree I wouldn't mind being able to hover over what I have a question about and be able to get an explanation or a hyperlink.

Okay I have a quick question about this too, is there any way possible for the red dot to be removed or changed after been tagged with it? And am suprised to see the user thats wearing the coinomize signature been placed with the red dot and it would be also nice to actually know the panel responsible for given the verdict on users to placed under this new dot ranks.

Yes, a consideration or an appeal should be a thing because the admin (or maybe some global mods) only have the power to add those dots and its looks like a permanent one. An open/close thread for proofs why the users got such a negative badge would be better.

admin started the idea that members would be rewarded with quality dots for writing useful and quality content. He even gave 100 topics as suggestions.

In the thread where the admin introduced the reputation dot and what the different colors stand for, he likened a red dot to a nagative trust, is this to say that, a user with a red dot shoulf not be trusted in a trade? Remember, the user earned the red dot not by means of scamming in a trade, but by means of poor quality post.

I think this are some of the things we need clear explanation or clarification on @admin.

Everything can be changed, nothing is eternal, but the intruder should have a will to improve his behavior for that. First they should contact admin, admit their violations and make positive contributions to show that they are ready to not to break rules again. Most of intruders don't want to be honest users from the very beginning, so their red marks can hardly be removed.

The red dot has another meaning, And while it may have something to do with the quality of the posts, the most important part of the red dot is as follows:

Bad Quality

This user have a major issue that needs to be resolved. (this is like negative trust) . We advise the user to contact the admin to see if there is a solution to this issue.
(multiple accounts, account farms, ...)
We do not advise bounty managers to work with these users.

As for whether you should trust someone with the red dot to trade, I think it's a personal decision. I wouldn't trust someone who doesn't follow the rules of the forum and harms other users by having multiple accounts.

No one got a red dot just for low quality posts. Low quality is a kind of lesser violations and has its own badge in case of persistent spamming everywhere with pointless posts. But even to get a registered warning for low quality posts someone should make many of them. Red dots are for worser violations.

Well, let me say that maybe I assumed wrongly, but all the same, I think it's been a while since I last saw a user with such tag, and I do see or come across some kind of nonsense posts or comments from some users from time to time, so, I am wondering if that Low Q.P. tag is still in use, I thought the red dot has actually replaced that  .
