Are they giving karma to active users ?

I give + karma out a lot. I rarely give - karma

Well, that's a very good thing, sir. Because I also prefer to skip posts that I don't like and I don't want to sent (-) Karma. And I also prefer to give (+) karma to anyone who has made a reply or post that I feel is useful. But I got (-) karma several times and this made me more careful in replying to posts. I don't like to offend other people's feelings. And you could do it accidentally. So when I get (-) karma really makes me keep thinking and finding out about my own mistakes. And yeah, that's quite stressful for me. If I knew which of my replies or posts got minus karma then I wouldn't be so stressed about it.

Negative karma is not given for a post you don't like, but for things that somehow violate the rules of the forum (read here), and if you see such a post and do nothing (whether it's negative karma or report to the moderator), then you've actually done a bad thing because you're practically supporting someone who does something they shouldn't.

If I knew which of my replies or posts got minus karma then I wouldn't be so stressed about it.

It's not just about who got negative karma for which post, but also which posts got positive karma. It seems to me that a lot of users have a completely wrong idea about what they should reward with + karma and what they shouldn't. I personally see some members who have too much +karma compared to the quality of the posts, so it will be interesting to see how everyone will behave when they are held accountable for their actions.

I just wanted to ask, is it only the senior members in this forum that can give karma, or the forum it self give karma, because definitely everybody im this forum started from somewhere k belive, so how did the first people that started got their karma?
And also do they give karma to users in this forum that post vital stuffs and are always active?

The Admin is the one who created the forum, he has moderators a team to spread Karma. And keep in mind that only seniors can give karma so maybe the admin did not have to follow this rule of becoming Senior first. He must have the privilege of giving karma from any rank. The first people who started must have gotten the karma from the Admin or anyone else to whom the admin has given such privilege.

To become senior you don't have to get karma and by making 312 posts you will become senior. Therefore it's not that hard for members to rank and start giving karma by themselves. I think you did not know that karma is not needed to get rank.

the issue is what is a bad post?

I personally dislike ETH and I speak harshly against the coin and MR V . ( by the way mr v still looking for my 2 coins lost when you reset your hacked blockchain)

I have to think my posts speaking against eth have earned -karma.

So I don’t need to know what people gave me -karma

but I would love to see what posts got -karma .

In my own view, this option can help the poster to further improve the quality of his post but we have to defer to admin since this is all on his power. Since we can never know who is giving us the karma, at least we can know why we got one so we can be inspired to continue doing a great job or do something that can be helpful to the forum with our participation. all I know is that the forum is an evolution, there will be more features to be introduced at the proper time or even features that will be changed or modified if necessary. I am happy to be a part of this forum and I know that its future is bright and shining. Let's continue on doing our part to make things a lot better so more and more people will be coming in and traffic can improve.

I believe there are other things (not disclosed to users) that are also considered during ranking up - it’s not solely based on number of posts.

If you look closely you’ll see that some user’s activity got stuck at some point and will have to fulfill something’s before it will start moving again - the same can be applied to users who are just posting and not minding the amount of karma they have accumulated just so they can rank up and start sharing karma to others. It might look easy to rank up here but if you don’t just put any effort in the type of post you make you won’t be able to rank up - they also have a way to restrict spammers and this is one of them.

But no name or username should be shown and only the post that received the karma is okay. We have mastered the decentralized nature of karma in the forum and it is very good in this way. There is no user on the forum who cannot access the next rank due to karma restrictions. What the admin is working on are not restrictions per se, they are certain ground rules for newly registered forum users who still have low ranks. After exceeding these ranks, accounts will be able to access subsequent ranks without any problem. The new karma system will have nothing to do with or be similar to the BTT merit system.

Users may take more or less time to reach the next rank mainly due to the activity, which requires several factors to be met in order to continue progressing. Users with a rank of Sr. Member or higher can send karma to the same user within 10 hours, but there is no such limitation if you want to send karma to different users. The 8 hours you are referring to would be to send 3 karma points to the same user, but not to different users.

Karmas is mainly giving to the active users of in the forum and not to the inactive users because they will not contribute meaningful information to the forum since they inactive but the active members you even motives them to be active the more.

I think I like this idea of ​​not displaying the sender's username.

I probably don't care that much about the + karma I receive. And I don't even want to know which of my posts got +karma. So I might prefer to just see which posts get -karma.
