Most people who have become so addicted to gambling, tend to gamble more than intended almost everyday, and it has contributed to their financial problems. Gambling excessively has so many negative effect to our youths today im the society, I have discussed about it in this board.
Gamble wisely folks...

Excessive gambling can make you addicted to other things like hard drugs which can lead to a whole lot of psychology disorders. Constant engagement in gambling can result in a lot of financial disability. A lot of young people in the society have been rendered useless due to their gambling addiction and the only way to tackle this is by coming up with gambling awareness programmes, this movement might help them to recover. A lot of people still don't want to admit that they are addicted, this is something that can help facilitate their recovery process

In fact, if we think about it scientifically, when we are very excited or happy, our brain releases a hormone called Dopamine.  And it's released when a person takes drugs, it's also released when a person watches porn, and it's also released when a person gets excited by gambling. And gradually when the demand for the release of this hormone called dopamine from the brain increases then people fall into addiction and in this case I consider gambling addiction more harmful than drugs.Because gambling addiction is not only a person but also there are many cases that his whole family is facing financial crisis due to gambling addiction, many families are breaking up and people are getting drug addicted due to depression due to gambling addiction and in many cases suicide attempts are seen.Gambling should be done within so limits, so that it does not turn into an addiction.

But can you enlighten us more about gambling being more harmful than drugs . Drugs it self is a separate issue cause drugs addiction are very dangerous. When one is addicted to drug only god knowns the person’s outcome . But about gambling being more dangerous than drug give us some reason to believe it and make sure of it .
Cause we can try and avoid it and try and push away our relative who are into it more than us or friends . But gambling addiction is a very serious issue to the society many are addicted to this gamble of a thing .

There are many researches about gambling addiction iirc. You can easily access them since most of them are posted on journal websites. I'm not sure if I've found one who argued gambling addiction is more dangerous compared to drug or other addictions or not, but I don't think that's the point since every type of addiction is dangerous for us. It affects our lifestyle, financial condition, relationships, etc. I mean there's a reason why government or NGO make dedicated programs to combat addiction/gambling addiction, sometimes for free. I disagree with you that gambling addiction is worse than drug addiction. In my opinion, both cause the same amount of harm to the addicted person.  Since it is uncommon for the same person to have both gambling and drug addiction, it is clear that anyone who has neither type of addiction has lost control of his activities.

Drug addiction, like gambling addiction, can cause pain in families. Individuals who use drugs are at risk of financial ruin because they spend money to buy the drug, and they constantly want to be on those substances in order to feel alive. Thus, it is incorrect to assert that gambling addiction is more dangerous than drug addiction.

Anything that is excessive does not have a good effect, especially if it involves gambling. There is nothing that is not detrimental to us. If we challenge ourselves too much to continue gambling, we will experience more losses and be out of control. The effect can be gambling addiction, so if you are addicted, it is very difficult to stop and it can ruin your life.

All we can say is that any kind of addiction is bad. Maybe drug addiction or gambling addiction. Both types of addiction cause a person to lose control. A person who is addicted to gambling loses control in gambling and a person who is addicted to drugs loses control physically and mentally and if anything out of control, it is not possible to expect anything good from it. If a person is addicted either of the two, he will suffer financially as well as socially no one will support him. I would never call loss in gambling is bad but when it turns into addiction it is definitely not acceptable.

You are also right i can't also disagree with your opinion because drug addicted peoples have also the unsecured and unhappily life and their family are also tortured from them. Honestly we have to agree at this point that any type of addiction is not good be it drug addciton, or gambling addiction, or po*rn addiction or movie addiction. I think that all things should be used within a limit or should be enjoyed. It is natural that if you enjoy anything beyond the limit, the bad impact will come from it. But the reason for my earlier opinion is that I have seen in real life how a gambler gets addicted to gambling and how from this addiction he goes into depression and then becomes a drug addict.

I consider gambling addiction more harmful than drugs.
i think both are extremely harmful to our own health and to the relationships between our friends and families  as well however i do not think gambling addiction is worse than drug abuse because in gambling you would need to reach the worst state for it to even level with drug addiction while with drugs even if you just do a little bit it can have so much repercussions

it will affect your physical state you will not have nutrition your body will weaken and your brain will rewire and not work properly and it is not just dopamine there will be so many things that could happen in your brain if you take drugs some report it to be out of the body experience while gambling you can still somehow control yourself anyway both are very harmful and neither should be chosen in preference over the other

Excessive betting is a very worse situation a gambler can fall into, if you're a gambler mind the limit you go in gambling let it not get to excessive.

Of all the kinds of addiction, I rate gambling as the second most dangerous after drug addiction, it harms the mind the body, relationships, and the wealth of the family this is one of the addictions that should be avoided it is hard to get out from this kind of addiction as it will take a lot of time and money to get cured from this addiction.

If you are gambling for fun be sure that you never cross the line and you are educated on the many risk of being addicted to gambling.
gambling have the capacity to turn a man who gamble for fun into an addicted gambler. Base in psychology whatever you do for 21 times becomes part of you,it becomes your nature, so gambling for fun can turn a man to become addicted gambler, so for me stay clear of it is the best solution that's not your opinion.

Gambling can affect us negatively when is being done excessively, just like alcohol and drugs gambling can stimulate the brain, and it becomes an  addiction , it can cause anxiety, stress and depression when it is excess. If you have a problem with excessive betting, it will push you into boring and owing debt .

Excessive betting is a very worse situation a gambler can fall into, if you're a gambler mind the limit you go in gambling let it not get to excessive.
In fact, we all know that excess of anything is not good. Be it gambling or anything else. It is 100% guaranteed that if a person gambles excessively, he will become addicted.  Gambling should always be played responsibly Gambling should never be taken irresponsibly. If you can keep gambling under your control and use it as entertainment then you will be free from gambling and gambling addiction. But always remember that if someone has excessive gambling habits, bring it back to normal gradually. And set a specific budget of income to bring it into normality, you will see that later you can free yourself from excessive gambling.

A gambler may become addicted to gambling when he chooses to gamble only for earning. I think if someone gambles for entertainment, the chances of becoming addicted are very low because the main purpose is to have fun. Since his earning effort is somewhat low, he can withdraw himself from gambling at any time, but those who expect to earn, spend unusual amounts of time and lose money.

Old saying ...too much of something is bad... is true especially for gambling. When people gamble too much they will mostly become addicted. This shows how important it is to gamble responsibly. If people treat gambling as just entertainment and set limits they can avoid getting hooked. Setting budget and slowly changing bad habits helps people stop gambling excessively. Being in control of oneself and being mindful are key to handling gaming challenges and avoiding problems making sure that what starts as fun does not turn into harmful habit.

You are right. When humans are not checked, they can easily go astray, which is why control is always necessary. Budgeting will go a long way towards ensuring that a gambler is monitored and gambles responsibly. When there is a strict budget, a gambler's ability to spend a significant amount of time gambling is restricted.

One advantage of budgeting is that it is based on the income of the gambler which means it cannot affect a gambler's income. This means that as long as a gambler adheres to his budget, he will never become addicted or incur irreparable losses.

If a person budgets a certain amount of money for gambling every month then losing that money has no effect on that person's personal life. A person is completely free if he has a limit of spending 2%-7% a month on gambling and spends his money accordingly. Gambling will never let him downfall negatively. When a gambler is gambling, he often loses his normal sense and does not know when he has to stop. If a gambler puts a certain portion of their income into gambling and sets a boundary there, he will definitely get a signal at that time that will help him take a break from gambling.
