No one except God knows the future and I don't think there is any particular season when one should hold Bitcoin. However, seeing past trends in past, we might be able to deduce that there is a possibility of a bull run in the upcoming months, just like there was after few months of last bitcoin halvings. So, if you buy now, you might be able to make some profits in upcoming months but then again, not certain. :D

Actually, many people regret why they didn't buy bitcoin when the price was still cheap, this is natural because there are still doubts and fears, so they don't have the courage to buy. The ones who win are those who have good analysis at that time and have bought Bitcoin, the profits they get will definitely be big.
They become regretful because of their own fear and that is something we commonly see especially with bitcoin. When the price is still cheap, they wait until the price gets cheaper and in reality the price reverses, and they can't make good use of it.

Even though there is a DCA strategy that can be used, because with DCA we can buy at any time and when the price drops again we can buy again. However, they didn't take advantage of existing strategies, which made them regret it.

If we go back to the time where the price of Bitcoin was still cheap, we might feel the same when we are investing at year 2022 where people are doubting if the price will recover or continue to go deeper. Some were saying that Bitcoin is dead. But what happened? From $16k at year 2022, now the price is currently moving at $66k. So if we know where we are in the cycle of Bitcoin, believe on it and don't let your emotion ruin your decisions.

Attempting to time the market can come with lots of disadvantages as well as regrettable decisions.
It requires you to accurately predict the price of Bitcoin, when to buy and the best time to sell, and like we already know that it's impossible to predict exactly the outcome of the market as there can be lots of mistakes one can encounter.

They were also exposed to FUD spread by people, as you said there were even people who said at that time it might be the end of bitcoin or that bitcoin was dead. But that was wrong and we are at very high prices now.

Our decision is in our hands, so we are the ones who must be able to analyze it well and try not to listen to the bad news out there. Because if we listen to it and we don't have principles and knowledge, then maybe we will be influenced.

Yeah, you're right. We should conduct our own study so that we do not fall victim from FUD because we already know what might happen to Bitcoin. However, you may lose hope if the price does not move as planned, such as if you expected the price to be $20k at its lowest but ended up at $16k. But, yes, we all learnt that when we talk about Bitcoin, everything is possible.

Believing in yourself is very important, especially this is something that concerns our own future. I won't say not to listen to what other people say completely, but there is something that can be heard and there is something that doesn't need to be heard at all.

If we've been in this space for long, I'm sure we can discern what's good for us and what's bad for us. What is clear is that we have to believe in ourselves, lest our decisions come from other than ourselves.

Newbies trying to learn more about crypto is always a welcome sight, I like it and I think everyone who has been in the bitcoin world for a while would love it as well. I think it is quite important to realize that we are not going to get a straight answer from anyone. Sure "now" is the correct answer, if you buy now and hold now that is great, but if you asked me a week ago I would have said the same thing, or I would have said the same thing a month ago, and I am pretty sure I will say the same thing a month from now as well. For some people like me, it is more important to just buy and hold, then the price action.

If you trust in yourself, you will be confident in your trades; nevertheless, believing in yourself too much can lead to overconfidence in trading, which is bad since you may miss important details in your analysis. We can't unhear what people say, but you can choose what they say to help you become a better trader.

Trusting yourself is good but trust comes when you know everything better and when you don't know anything but trust yourself that your trades will be accurate then this behaviour can make you disappointed. Before trusting yourself it is important to make yourself bold through getting proper knowledge.

We should not listen to the talks of everyone because they will share their experience in one thing while we will be involved in another one so be bold and just focus on your knowledge to get the better for what you are trying.

Bitcoin price corrections like this will indeed occur when the price of Bitcoin increases in price, then the next price movement will be a fall in the price of Bitcoin. As long as we still have Bitcoin and spend using money that is not going to be used in the near future, it is better for us to keep holding Bitcoin in our wallet for a very long time. I believe Bitcoin will offer a higher price high than the current ATH.

The price of bitcoin increases all the time so I am interested in holding on to it. Is there a limit to this bitcoin season?

Basically I want to know about investing strategy.
you have mentioned about your interest in HOLDING bitcoin so lets answer about the limit you are asking here  and from what I learned ?

LIMIT - means either about your capable funds to invest and lose but never about the time.

BITCOIN SEASON - this happens mostly every 4 years when bitcoin dictates the rolling of the market followed by altcoins(limited coins of course)

so  about strategy , its yours to decide if you wanted to HOLD so let it there for years , or if you wanted to Buy /Sell then thats your decision to make.

If we have free funds, maybe we can hold for years, by buying bitcoin when it is bearish then holding for the long term. If I do it I only follow a 4 year cycle, because I don't have the desire to hold it for more than 4 years. because the risk is also big if Bitcoin is suddenly replaced by a new coin.

You are right in thinking Bitcoin is a great asset but if you want to hold this asset you must take risk. Because we all know how profitable it is.If you have money then you can invest it because even though this Bitcoin is slowly going from history then the market is very good in 2024 when it comes to present time. But at present its market is a bit worse and may get worse. But this Bitcoin market won't stay bad for long. If you can hold it patiently till Bitcoin 2025 then you can expect good things.
