 I don't see these as a winning gambling strategy rather these are responsible gambling practices in my thinking. These tips will not guarantee you any winning but rather will prevent a gambler from incurring an irreparable loss. When a gambler follows these practices then you can easily enjoy the game and make it an activity for entertainment and not a money-making scheme.

I think these things are the basic conditions of gambling. Those who do not accept these things come to gamble, I think then they should not gamble. OP, this is not a gamble strategy. They are rules to healthy gambling. Strategies are ways in which you can use to make profit from gambling, but what you mentioned will help one from addiction, and for him to be able to control his losses. I wouldn't really call them tricks they are ways to restrict yourself as a gambler in order for you not to get obsessed with the game. A lot of gamblers don't know when to retire and that is a problem because if you keep winning it doesn't mean you should keep playing and if you keep losing it doesn't mean you should keep trying to recover, always know when to draw the line, self control and discipline is very important, this will help you avoid unnecessary losses

Someone will say that these are simple truths and they are obvious. But I will say that most gamblers do not even realize the risk of becoming addicted, they only want to win, and if someone conveyed to them the lines written above, it could save most gamblers from problematic addiction. For my own points of view, OP you're just talking about how to gamble responsibly. Those are not gambling tricks, I think you are getting it wrong, rather those are good gambling ethics to follow, so as to avoid being addicted or loosing steadily.

Yeah and it is far from the strategies he was referring to and I don't think all of it were strategies but instead it's some sort of advices that we gamblers must take to lessen the chances of losing more and becoming addicted to gambling.

MUST? But why? I do not have any obligation to share my strategies to anyone and I do not oblige you or anyone else to do that. Anyway, what you said looks common to me but they might be helpful to newbie gamblers. What I can add is to have a bankroll that's not going to hurt your budget. Do not bet beyond that.

I agree no one should be compelled or forced to share a winning strategy they have it's a matter of choice. People that make money actively from their strategies wouldn't have time to teach others to make money either they can only do it to help out if they want to. Most people believe that sharing their strategies might jinx it or make it stop working, that is just a mindset but it doesn't mean it's real, what is working will continue working it doesn't matter who you share it with. But relying on other people's strategy isn't the best thing to do, you must make a way for yourself and try not to bet more than your capacity always cut down your risks

True, in the beginning, we might just want to be entertain here and there, just have that experience and we say that we are done. But after that first experience, specially if you got the beginners luck, you might go and try the second time around.

And guess what, you turn into a gambling addict yourself and you are chasing that feeling again and again. So it  takes mental discipline and really the audacity to not play again or just dreaded gambling for good so that you will not be a addict.
