Upwork have higher quality project and more experienced freelancers than that of Fiverr. Upwork has high percentage of freelancers while Fiverr has low average hourly rates.

Upwork and Fiver are known for doing the same thing, but I think Upwork is more popular than Fiver, and has a lot of users too. The two of them are good, but if you ask me which one to choose I will pick upwork.

Fiverr is for projects that can be done so quickly. back in 2008 where websites are created every minute because off the wordpress CMS, people are developing websites and flipping it after a month. these developers asks graphic artist to create a logo or articles for the website and it can be done in an hour and they earn $5.

it usually was just $5 but now fiverr is different it seem like they are already evolving where the freelancers are up-selling. which i think they need to move to upwork.
somehow upwork is a place hard to be a beginner. this is why fiverr and seoclerks were created. cool to see those mini job sites still are alive.

The last time I was on Upwork they had actually added a gig section with pricing similar to Fiverr.

The job posting feed here updates very quickly. Fiver is one of the platforms to earn money by doing various jobs online. You can work with logo design, web design, article writing, video editing, digital marketing etc. A minimum payment of $5 is required to get any work done here. Freelancer will get payment from fiver after completing the work and submitting it. For this Fiver takes $1 for every $5.

Upwork and Fiverr are two very old names in the market; I bet they are overcrowded already. It will be interesting to have newer platforms that offer the same or even better opportunity than what is offered on Fiverr and Upwork.
