Here's the monthly update of the Top 100 Karma earners of the month of June, I didnt do it last month of May because of the bot's server downtime. Great job guys! 

Great job man, nice to see a thread that keep us up to date with our monthly activities here on altcoinstalks, I was glad when I got the notification and checking to see my name among the top 100 make alot of sense to me, let see what happens along the line,  because lately, there have been increasing numbers of activities and that will reflect on the July update,  nice job once more and a +1 to you for doing good.

Thanks for the update buddy. It helps me a lot to keep track of how I am doing in the forum. Earning only ten karma a month seems tough here even though earning merit isn't that tough. That is because of the popularity and some restrictions as only Sr Memeber and Avobe can send karma. I have earned 20 Karma this month but I had a single 10 negative karma for a little mistake I have made. I will try more to improve my post quality. Thanks again for the update!

I have earned 20 Karma this month but I had a single 10 negative karma for a little mistake I have made. I will try more to improve my post quality. Thanks again for the update!

I still miss a lot of transparency in karma.

I think those +10 -10 karma aren't really positive, as the users who got those "bombs" become much ahead/behind the other ones...

I want to submit a monthly report to my local board according to your topic, but what I want to know now is whether it will be possible to see the top karma earner by short by board or topic?

Unfortunately, not. As karma details (send and receive) are not publicly available, the bot only scrape every active users profile so there's no way its possible as of now.

Actually, I think I didn't properly explain my question to you. The question I actually asked is that I want to see how many people on my board have received the karma likes as you mention active users. Many of them are in your top 100 list, I wanted to post them in short. My board number board=95.0 .

I never knew there are compiled list of the top 100 karma here. The only place I normally see such a compiled list of the top merit earners is in btt forum. Getting to know about this here, that small contribution to the forum is being noticed, gives someone more motivation to keep carrying on making quality contributions.

However, don't have much to say than, thanks, for making out time to compile the list of top karma earners from top to lowest. It's not that easy. One Karma for it

I think so. There are not many members here in this forum and it takes a lot of time to earn 10 positive karma. For me, it took me a month to earn 10 positive karma and there are a lot of members who earned only three or four karma per month. So, it's a couple of months of work already. But when we get the negative or a positive karma bombs, it either gives a huge boost or it dug me down to the bottom. I am not talking about my specific case, but I am talking about in general.

Displaying karma points on each post would be a great step forward. This would show other users what kind of post quality deserves + or - karma, which could certainly affect the quality. It would also be easier to recognize the misuse of karma points in the case of revenge or a potential farming account.
These "bombs" as you call them are ok, as long as they come from verified members (something like merit source on Btt). I think that they happen when a post is in the direct interest and raises the quality of the forum.

The same answer as my last reply. If you mean by "my board" is your local board, that's something need to manually check first since some users are multi lingual and make posts on different local boards.

displaying -karma will cause a lot of problems between members and may not lead to a friendly fourm or some may be afraid to use -karma because it may mean -karma will back to you from that account.

I agree. But displaying just + karma would be positive imo. It would give more transparency and also incentive good posts.

True, I agree with you, in fact sites like YouTube have eliminated dislikes.  I dont know if it is a good thing or a bad thing, but in this case I dont watch the video and leave a dislike, I have no incentive.  I dont look at it and move on and finish.  Likes are used to monitor whether people liked the video, dislikes are useless.
