SLeepless nights doing bounty campaign is it worth it?

I know that there are other members here working day and night doing bounty campaigns. But i think that doing bounty campaigns is not worth it especially if you had a lot of work during the day. Some are just boasting on their bounty campaign earning wherein fact maybe because they are lucky to receive those awards but somehow do not wish that you could be like them because some of the ICO project that you will going to work will not give bounty rewards and some of it will fail, or just pause. So no reason for sleeping late at night.

A few weeks ago, because BTC was still falling and the bear market is continuing, I decided to attend bounties as much as I can. I attended the ones in bountyplatform and CX
I had some payments.
CX sent me several tokens. Such as I had 2$ from one ICO price and another token worth 200$ ICO price.
2$ telegram bounty is not even worth wasting my telegram group limit.
200$ made me happy but after that coin got listed the amount I had fall to 15$... I got that from Twitter+FB+telegram bounty...

If you will have a $15 from 3 bounties I think it is risky and you can end up wasting your time.
But if you choose good signature campaigns with paying a lot, I think you will spend less time and gain x5 x10 from a bounty you got from FB+twitter

I think it's just a matter of not investing too much time, but making the time you're investing count as much as it can.  There are lots of bounty programs and some of their things aren't worth putting as much effort into, so just be picky about what projects you spend time on.  There are some that don't take a lot each day, 10-20 minutes promoting their product on twitter or whatever social media they're using.  Once you hit that limit, just move on to another project or stop.  You can also work on it while doing other useless things like enjoying music or television.  I mean, you have to ask yourself if whatever time you're spending not doing bounties is worth it too, right?  It all comes down to that internal decision.

I don't know anyone who works on them day and night.. even when I've done as many as 40 at once it was less than one hour a day.. organization is key.

Bounties are ok if you receive payment and in a decent currency. No reason to lose sleep though.

You're basically playing a numbers game where even if you do 1000 or so, you only have to be right about 1% of the time to make considerable money.  Its just a matter of not losing faith in the process after such a small sample size with not much success, especially in a down market.  2017 was a bull market outside of normal... but 2018's bear market is somewhat of an anomaly too.

you need to choose well and hold... if you organize yourself you can do a lot of bounties in a day and don't loose any sleep, and if they are well chosen, chances are that a good percentage will come up with a working product later on and your bounty tokens will be worth a nice prize....

Don't overload yourself with many bounties, quality not quantity. You need to have time management and right choose of the bounty that can give you reward. I have a regular job and I make 2-3 hours of my time for my bounty task and I'm doing signature campaign only.

I think quantity outranks quality with these.  Quality matters to a certain extent, but you have no idea whether or not some of these ICOs are scams.  It takes a decent amount of time to investigate them fully, and there's still no way to know if they're legit or not.  Better to just take that time and focus that into more bounties.  I guess some projects could be dumb, but you never know how things can change.

Yes! you have well said, also, i think the spent on bounties may not be a waist of time since the benefits coming from these bounties are worth the pain of sleepness day and night.
I have not actually seen a special tool(s) or perimeter used to determine if ICOs are actually legit, but if i venture into many ICOs, say 3 or 4, i may stand a chance to get a good coin/token at the end of the campaigns. It worth keeping awake if i get good token/coin.

Dont mind me giving my opinion of doing bounties for years. Yes, you hear me right, i did it for years, starting when btc was $50.

There are different phrases/goals of doing bounties.

One is to aim for potential growth - So you are someone who believe in exponential growth in cyrpto, you can do bounty and try to accumulate as much as you can. For me, i am doing signature bounty even with the highest rank in bitcointalk and the pay is miserable years ago. I got like 0.4btc for a month work which is about $50 usd, subsequently it drop to 0.2btc due to the rise of btc. But i kept doing it non stop for years and i managed to gather 5 btc. Imagine at time, i need to wait up at 5am to post some posting to mee the post count for the deadline. The btc rose to a new height of $1k each and i sold these 5 btc for a honeymoon trip with my wife. The original per month $50 is then worth like $500. If i had kept it, the $50 would become $3000. But i am happy with the "free money". Also back to the topic, for this kind of bounty hunters, they will hunt and keep to sell it at much later for higher price. They look at future, not now. And this kind of people usually go for safe route so they may not choose ico bounty but those pro-ico bounty or advertisement bounty.

Another is to look for quick cash, you do bounty for the free money, you just choose a good ico and do their bounty. When you get it, you will sell for whatever the price is. You dont understand the project and you just go to those hype projects because that will ensure the payout. So each projects, you just earn a few hundred or even thousand and you move on to the next one.


You are an investors which are also a bounty hunter.  You will look into projects and work on those that you truly believe in. You may end up holding that tokens for a long period of time. For example, i have been keeping my spectre tokens and i still believe in it.

Exactly. You don't have to waste nights for bounties, just get organized, choose wisely which campaigns you will participate and reserve few hours daily for complete tasks.
