Do you think that religion has the power to influence one who is addicted to gambling to stop gambling, if you have a friend who is addicted to gambling do you believe that by leading him to your religion or church he will be a changed man and stop gambling or he will moderate his addiction.

TBH, connecting religion to somebody that's addicted to gambling is something that I would even think can connect... but I'll try to answer it.

I guess religion can influence somebody that's addicted to gambling to stop. How? Providing a supportive community coming from religious groups. They will guide you and give you the thing that you want to do and that's to recover from gambling addiction. Well, as much as these religious groups can support you, at the end of the day, it's up to you as an addicted gambler if you want to help yourself or not because if you don't want to then it will be useless.

I don't hear a story where an addicted gambler got some help from religious organizations or groups at all. Is it that rare? Or it isn't happening at all.

Religion can save people from various bad things and bad addictions if one follows his religion completely I believe this saying. Gambling is a bad addiction so society and religion in many cases speak against gambling and dislike gambling.  If we talk about Muslim religion there gambling is completely prohibited and it is considered haram. so religion can help someone overcome gambling addiction. Gambling is now widespread worldwide as it is a very attractive and enjoyable game. But it is hurting us financially. so for this reason gambling should never be taken seriously. and if one is addicted to gambling then he should come out of that addiction either through religion or through any other way
