We can't actually compare the experience we get from playing on demo with that from the real game. Demo make you relax while playing as you are just trying to test out the games with the free money. You're right, although to be honest when I was starting out in arcade games I found the demo mode games very boring, because obviously there wasn't much excitement there, the excitement jumps when we do it with money, but over time and after lasting a bit with all the losses that one has had, one realizes that the demo mode helps to establish strategies and to know how to use each button, each tool in the game, and when playing in real mode the chances of making a mistake decrease..
