What makes a country powerful.

All countries are weak to say any have real power is an illusion at this moment in this.

We are on a world that when spilt up has:

 1/3 of 1 acre of fresh water per person.
 4 acres of land per person.
12 acres of ocean per person.

If any country had real power they could fix the issue above. I say all are weak and suffer delusions of grandeur while the world literally is fucking itself to death.

You cited indicators that say only one thing - mankind is breeding mindlessly, and mindlessly destroying nature and resources. At the same time, whether we like it or not, the biggest population growth comes from poor countries (or rather, the poor population of countries). I do not think that this problem should and can be solved by the countries of the developed world. Why not? Because I don't know from hearsay how the world's aid has been "used" to help poor countries for decades.
Instead of local people demanding to build them factories, they demand "just feed and house us, we don't want to work". When they are told they need health care, hygiene, and birth control, they scream "stay out of our lives, our traditions, and our faith".  At the same time, a huge number of "humanitarian organizations" and local authorities of countries "in need of help" are just corrupt feeding troughs for tens and hundreds of thousands of thieves of OUR money, which supposedly goes to "help poor countries"

I said let me bring this up here, as though it is a topic that has been discussed in the other forum, last year or two, because I was able to see it there.

We know that powerful countries are the ones that is ruling the world, as they are been feared by other countries based on how strong they are. This brings to question of... What do you think that makes a country powerful? Is it the country 's military or her economy or her currency.

of course like US ,CHINA and RUSSIA they are showing their strength to prove they are strong and powerful but for me the real powerful country are the one that has a contented people , the living is simple but contented and this is why i for me its finland is the super country in the world as they are the safest and contented .

No, we're not doing that anymore, right now everywhere except Africa there is a huge decline in the fertility rate, and even with them growing they still don't reach a level where they should be a problem from Phil's point of view, Africa still has a density 1/3 that of Asia.

I will say that the powerful countries apart from China merged against Russia, who will be able to win such war and still survive her currency value and they cannot do business anymore with the international market due to ban. If it was a country that was not powerful, they would have been defeated long ago.

Russia is not also interested to conquer Ukraine. if Putin will just behave like Netanyahu Ukraine will all be ruins but instead he wants that country still exist after all Ukrainians are Russian speaking country.

Russia's economy also is way better than the countries affected by inflation today. They are not struggling with lots of homelessness as well and they still could sell their gas and oil.

Smile nice question. There are a lot of things make a country very powerful but among all, it is only one thing make the country more powerful and I will give some instances. I have made comments on similar issue over there in the bitcoin forum. There are two things make of a Sovereign State and which are: Superstructure and Substructure. The Superstructure is the political setting of the country. That is comprises of all the institutions and offices both the government and private institutions of the country. Then the second one is the Substructure which the base and it is the Economy. Now economy control the other institutions of the state. Example. Nigeria was was the Giant of Africa because her economy was stronger than any other countries in the continent. But today it is no more because her economy is weak. America is the world power because USD is used in n the international market to exchange goods and services. And no any other currencies is used.

Military power in a country is determined by the economy power of the country. Because it is the economic resources that would be used to buy weapons for the military to become powerful and once a country military is powerful then other countries would be afraid to attack it. I have a lot to say but let me stop.

Well exactly yes it will happen as greed is what on every oligarchs head. this can easily happen since they both are going to be seeing threat to each other.  they will both compete who will have bigger resources and will try to dominate each other too in terms of military and economy. China will lose, they are just economic power but they also have a long range, isn't the hypersonic their tech?

they are too close geographically, both have nukes as well. but Russia has more afaik. if they are in war,  that part of the world will be a land grab for countries nearby. China is a very strategic with great access to the ocean, but the ones that might fight over that land will be Korea and Japan.

A country's powerful place is not selected only in a single category. Many will think that serving in the army is acceptable as powerful. This is not enough for me because the more educated and technologically advanced the people of a country are, the more powerful the country is. In the current context of a country, the country is made developing with the rate of education and the use of advanced technology. Moreover the position of the rulers of the country should be good and corruption should be reduced so that the state of the country can be improved. To be powerful, you must have the best in terms of all structures.

A powerful country is one that has a stable economy and a strong military as well. A powerful country is a country that can be self-sustaining; it is a country that does not depend on another country for many things; rather, Other countries depend on them for certain things. A country will not be powerful if its economy is stronger than its military or if its military is by far stronger than its economy, because a poor economy will find it difficult to support the military in a time of crisis.

Extremely good, all what you have is really good and important and that is what a country needs to have, which makes such country powerful. Any country that has all the above mentioned attributes, it makes the citizens to be reliable and confident to work more harder to support our leaders to fight against corruption and laziness. And also if our leaders adhere to our voices when we need their help, it also makes a country powerful.

You cannot supply your military equipment and your logistics if you have a bad economy, The US China, and other European countries have a superpower status because they have a strong economy and they have a supply of military equipment and their personnel are well-trained.
The US derives part of its wealth from manufacturing war equipment so they are considered a military and economic power.

What help? A few hundred tanks and IFVs and a bunch of ammunition?
You're talking about the wanna-be second global power that can't advance more than 1km a month in Ukraine with 1% of NATO weapons given as help! The US sailed half of the globe and trashed in one month what was considered at that time the 6th army in the world and Russia couldn't even project power 100km across their borders.

There are factors to look into, to regard a country to be powerful.
Those factors are the country's military capacity, economic strength, natural resources, technological advancement and human development.

A country that has such mentioned factors is to be regarded as a powerful country because they have everything to defend, protect, grow, expand, develop their country to always be a better one for its citizens
