Trying to acquire more of anything is not bad if only u are using a resources or your resources as the case maybe to acquire what u want but when you want to acquire your desires but lack the resources to achieve the level of your desired outcome tends to lead to searching of other means possible beyond your capacity is purely lack of contentment. This resources can be monetary, power or orherwise. This has led to many of our youths doing things they ought not to do. Let's acquire what we want to acquire within the spheres of our capacity then we can grow it into a larger atmosphere.

This is because of technology and social media we are influenced by people on social media that we need to acquire these new gadgets and materials things for fulfillment, the world is highly commercialized and materialized that you are always challenged to get these things for you to become part of the new generation.
So contentment has become out of our vocabulary and way of life, we only practice contentment when we become mature and learn what matters in life.

When more and more people are losing touch with their spirituality, they tend to be more greedy and would focus more on gaining material things thinking that they can give them the contentment all of us are looking for. Contentment is something that is subjective and it varies from one person to another but I would just describe it as happiness. When you are happy, it does not matter if you have many things at your disposal or you lack many things and you are still working for them. Now, it should be emphasized that contentment does not mean we have to be lazy but it means that we appreciate the things we have and we are using them for our benefit and the people we love dearly. There is always a big satisfaction when we share what we have with our family and with our community as giving is an act of love. We should be working hard but must never lose the right perspective in life that material things are made for us and we are not made for material things. In summary, life is all about knowing what are your priorities.

Not only in our youths but in human generally. The old politicians are also like that, and that is why they are corrupt and allow the citizens to live in poverty why they steal the country's funds because of lack of Contentment. Adults go ahead to do all sort of evil just to gain their selfish ambitions. Contentment is a virtue, because who ever is contented with what he has will live an upright, honest and humble life. Will I say that in our world today, only teachers are contented with their paycheck.

I don't see anything bad when someone push for more success, there is no resting about success in life that's why even the rich men continue to struggle for more ways to get money, there is nothing wrong if you push for more too but where I called a stop is when you don't know when to stop in some juncture and you are determine to make it all cost, this is when you see people do desperate things to get some things.

It's because of desperate and peer pressures that makes us to do something that are not warrant today, we now have high number of scam and cyber crime all over the internet for desperation to make money.

There has to be some kind of balance surely because being too contented is a problem just as being not contented. if you become too contented with your situation you may never grow or become better, you will become too comfortable and your comfort zone will suffocate you.

Life is a process and as long as you're not idle, you'll always make progress. The problem with lots of people is wanting to skip the due processes required to arrive at a particular level, which is totally wrong, because sometimes shortcuts can get you into lots of trouble or into making lots of wrong decisions that you'll probably regret later.

As long as one isn't idle, all you need is time to get results, yeah getting an additional push or motivational boost isn't such a bad idea, but it should moderate else it could escalate to hasty decisions.

The dimensions of satisfaction for each person will clearly not be the same but certainly vary. Contentment is the state of satisfaction and being happy with what you have right now. Being discontentment can lead people to be greedy and can lead to doing unacceptable things like crime just to get the thing that they want. If we remain to be content of something it can also be bad because it can lead to fear of changing where nothing grows and we don't get any better.

There are things to consider being content and not there should be balance in all things. the example we should not be content with who we are today so we strive to become a better version of ourselves without doing negative things and example of bringing content is with material possessions where we be content with what we have. there are many things to consider about contentment.
