Why do we think the future of job remains uncertain, its because we are too dependent of others to be the source of our livelihood, those working under other people will always have this fear in them, that what might be the end of their life when they got sack from the job they are doing, but when they look beyond that and focus on their abilities, they are doing to see how useful it is for one to make it happens as planned.

nothing last forever as they say. but its always the pension that matters for someone who aged already and the fear of losing their job is going to be real. the AI deployments aren't even their worries for now. but yeh having more skills will likely land a good job if they ever loses the current.

but its not the option for people in the governments of in companies that are linked to politics. employees are forced to become democrats  because if they won't support the head, they'd lose their jobs.

My guess is that the Government will intervene when job losses increases at an alarming rate. Why? Because by then, tax collections from the middle class (working class) will drop significantly and they will be forced to provide aid to millions of jobless citizens. Imagine no new money but with added expenditure. Governments don't want things like that to happen.

The thing is we can't put our hope in government to provide jobs for us as government can't provide jobs and the intervention that your referring to because the issue of unemployment has been a global issues that has been there for a while with little or no effort by government to find a solution to the problem of unemployment in the world . The truth of the matter is that government is paying lip service to address unemployment matters so they can continue to use it as a campaign strategy for election purposes so people need to take their destinies into their hands by getting themselves involved in meaningful business that will bring money to them at the end of the day such business can be investment in the crypto market as it is a viable business that is profitable

Almost every tech giant cuts off their employees a lot to cut down their operational costs and this resulted in the emergence of AI which swapped the requirement of an actual human needed for the task and the trend will likely follow in the coming years too.

The condition remains the same in every field, an exception could be the medical field.

I don't think there can ever be a time when humans will not be required to work. Even as AI advances, human services remain required. AI must always follow instructions, and humans will provide those instructions. The purpose of technological advancements in society is not to deny humans jobs, but rather to help them work faster, easier, and more accurately.

On the issue of job government is trying their best to make sure that things get better but the truth is that population is increasing everyday and there is high demand for jobs so government alone can't provide jobs for everyone in their countries so both the private sector and individuals should take responsibility for themselves so that they can be useful to the society because if they wait for the government to provide job's for them it will it till eternity as government only can't solve the problem of unemployment in the society so people should acquire skills that will be of demand in the society so the can be meaningful engaged

I had an experience when I was working in a company we had a department where you just had to sit down and arrange noodles for the person that would park it to the carton and the Indian men there saw that the work was a bit easy so they had to drop everyone working there and installed a machine that would do that and there was three shifts when they dropped those people the total number of people that went home was 122 people imagine 122 people being jobless.

And we are about to see more of that with Elon musk's robots.
But when you have a handwork or skill no matter the situation you are safe.

that is unfortunate this has been happening way before when machines were invented we could only imagine what can these new and highly more developed robots/machines can do in our places

so our best bet is ourselves make yourself stand out and special that no kind of machine can takeover your job unfortunately for some all they can do is the minimal physical work that can be easily accomplished by a robot so this should be a time where we also try and invest in our own skills

Its not just machines taking over jobs but what the news are saying was that people are not working anymore because they see wages are not enough to compensate their hard work.

Instead of working double time and find 2job because of the inflation and the economy, people are not working.

Agree. We will always feel afraid if we can't live independently with the work we create ourselves. In my country, most people too depend on the jobs from the government institutions. So, they have no idea to create their own jobs. Even though there are many things that can be done independently, there is no need to depend on the government or other people. I think the government also needs to play a role in making people aware of being independent. Owning a large area of ​​land and being a farmer is the safest job at the moment. Because despite the global economic crisis, we still won't have food difficulties if we are farmers. The internet however made people realized working is pointless because of inflation, they see their future not making it to retirement. They don't blame AI. I have seen those videos where people from China lying down protesting not to work.
