Trying to stay away from it is your choice, but trying to get in with money you can afford to lose is not a problem.

As long as you didn't create the meme coin, there is always high tendency of you losing your investments if the crator of the meme sells their bags. The only people that are immune to loss are the creators that buys the coin immediately on listing but as soon as you buy after, you have the risk of been rugged and you will lose your money.

If you have the money you can afford to lose and you don't want to dash it out, it's better you invest it in some altcoins, that will atleast give you a calm mind that it's not like meme and if it's a good coin, with development growth will come to the coin for sure and you can take your profits instead of meme that you have to worry when to sell when it later pump.

If the Bitcoin market starts to get bullish then I think Book of meme (BOME) will make a good position as meme coin in 2025. Also, all the coins mentioned here, I think every coin here will make a good position in 2025. But I expect this BOME coin to go well from my guess. Not just hoping to get into a good position, but of course I invested and held on.  But I guess BOME may reach $0.20-$0.50 if Bitcoin reaches $100000 to $150000 when market bull run starts. As the market cap is very high, this price should not be too difficult to reach.

        -    I think BOME's ATH can't be even 0.2$ or 0.5$; from what I see, there is at least 1$ the price it can reach, honestly. And the other meme coins that I think will also enter the market are Bonk, Floki, Fish, Toshi, Pepe, and Notcoin, but I'm not sure if this meme coin is also NOT, and the last one is SHIB, so at least that won't be late for sure.

Now among the other meme coins that I think are okay in the short term are Babydoge, Aidoge, and other meme coins that are top-listed in the market that I won't mention anymore.

I think we are not done with the year 2024 completely and we may still have some coins or token perform well or even see the likes of pepe floki and meme making another hefty round before the end ends, while by next year, we may be placed wit other opportunities from the newly upcoming coins and tokens for the year 2025, for now, we can still expect something more coming from these ones between now till the end of the year, or we better still consider the NOTcoin which has been the hype of this month.

The only difference between Pepe and the two is that he showed a hot performance with this completed bitcoin halving that really surprised most communities in this field of crypto space.

While the two Doge and Shib were silent, the huge market cap and volume remained intact every day in terms of trading activity. It has lost nearly half of its value in the at two weeks, and that initial value was because of the hype of being issued in the halving block and one of the first rune, but unlike other coins, it's completely dependent on the rune hype if that dies down there is nothing saving individual tokens that don;t have their won chain to promote anything else.

Not to mention that bitcoin fees spike can kill rune usage just like that!

You are right, that when choosing memecoins many people use feeling rather than analysis. What this means is that they still use analysis, but in their final decision they still use feeling.

PEPE is currently on a lot of hype and it is good to see its price going up.  But meme coin hype doesn't last long.  Once there was a lot of hype about SHIB, now there is no such thing.  Meme coin creates a lot of hype in the market after its new arrival. I think DOGE is the only coin that has survived in the market for many years and will continue to do so in the future.  Don't expect much from other meme coins.  By 2025 there will be many more new meme coins in the market so it is impossible to predict which coin will be hyped and give good profit at that time.
