Is the matrix movie possible?

I voted yes it is possible.  The biggest reason I voted yes is long ago and far away.

Say 1972 to 1983 I had many interesting thing happen to me. Yeah I was doing a lot of hallucinogens but I saw felt heard quite a few wild things.

Never thought much about them since they stopped back in the 80's when I stopped getting high.

Over time I went and saw The first and best of the movies "the Matrix"

I have often wondered if the matrix is real since then.

I got triggered by reading the flat earth thread.

Matrix is my all-time favourite movie I have watched all 4 Matrix movies this could happen because we love and are very fascinated by AI and robots if our scientists keep creating and inventing robots and AI we could see a matrix like scenario but I believe before this could happen we already have warning signs because the human is very intelligent to stop this before Matrix become possible it will take a hundred years from now.

some truth is stranger really. whether matrix is true or not, the rise of AIs is probably one thing that might replace people and it would almost too late to realize it that we have to fight every technology we got to over throw the robots that already thinks and decides for us.

i have been reading flat earth since the time it saw the old thread in the other forum. fascinating idea and that i could only think someone in the past already figured that in order to enslave us all here on earth is to make us believe there is no way out because we are in a floating ball. but 500 years ago, i think people believe the world is flat. the idea that the world is round globe is just new.

and if i am a smart black person enslaved for hundreds of years will not try to walk out to the ends of the world, to cross that hundreds of miles of ice walls in order to reach some other world out there.

I've been seeing this thread for quite some time now and have been skipping it whenever I come across it, but today I just decided to check it out.
And reading through the contents of the thread, all I can say is that, everyone who has seen the movie matrix knows it's just a complete fiction, although, there are few stuffs that we can say is real but it's the fictional parts that made the movie so intriguing and interesting to watch.

And concerning the flat earth theory, there's no way that could be true because there are so many things we encounter everyday that tells us that the earth can never be round, if the earth was flat then we would actually have the the end of the earth.
Then the phrase "end of the earth" would literally be true and not just a metaphor.

Again, the whole wouldn't actually be using different time zones if the earth was actually flat. Think about that.

While some of the things in the movie might be cool, I think i'd rather stay ignorant and live the life I have now. Even sick I think i'm better off than having plug ins on my body and having to plug in to enter what we think is the real world now. ALso could care less about fighting off giant metal sperm or whatever those creatures are.

The movie envisaged the future of technology in an advanced world where robots and implants are the order of the day. It kind of showcased what technology could offer to humanity or mankind when properly utilised. At a stage in the world's journey, there could be technology like that of matrix as envisaged.
Currently, technology is kind of taking shape towards that direction. As man is ready and willing to develop such to help reduce the lapses in human labour and other activities, so the quest to develop ones capacity and machines to achieve that.

Original Matrix is one of the best movies I ever watched, but they ruined everything with every sequel movie, that was done just to make more money.
I wouldn't say that matrix that was described in movie is a real thing, but this world is not what people think it is, and what they are telling us since we were kids.
I know that if news and some big government agency is telling us about something, real truth must be a total opposite from that.

yeah huge amounts of lies are feed to us on a constant basis. It is likely why the first matrix movie was so well received. the second was poor the third was the worst the fourth was better than the second or third it was almost good.
