Tokens, Their Real World Use And How To Spot Them.

As a crypto trader what seems to always attract us to certain projects asides the price actions of coins when they moon is the plans of the project to maybe do a major activity or event. I could remember back then when Elon was about to be hosted on a radio program and everywhere went haywire, the phrase in crypto "buy the rumour sell the news" came to full play and the price of DOGE went so high it hit an ATH. That is an a good example. But the most important thing is a token that lasts longer. Everyone starts to use it just like BTC.

As a trader and active participant in the crypto space, I came across VeChain, which is not a new token in the crypto setting, but aside the fact that it focus on business track and manages their products caught my attention. What do you think about this project, has anyone seen it lately too I you have anyone in your rader, you could also share to and how we can spot them.

Well I personally invested in VeChain a couple of years ago maybe that was 2018 I think and I also like it's narrative to be honest. For me VeChain is an underrated coin or project but I know one day investors will see it's worth.

In making selections for the best token to go for, we need to be more careful because they can sometimes present to is some unrealistic expectations in which we may also fall in for and go for them, once a project is appearing too good to be real, then it's likely not to be real as thought, we can't deny the useful implications of some of these tokens and their various applicable areas for investors satisfaction.

As for the issue of “buy rumors, sell news,” this is what happened yesterday, as rumors appeared about the approval of the Ethereum ETF, and whales began buying large amounts of Ethereum, which led to the price rising. Then they sold later and the price dropped.

As for the VeChain project, it is a very good and old project that has proven its presence strongly among the major coins, but in my opinion, it does not receive sufficient support or it was not promoted well by the work team. The project is old, but so far it has not achieved the expected success.

Honestly speaking, it is so difficult to make sure that the coin or token you are supporting will eventually make it to the top. Yes, we can look at the many things the team behind the project will be doing most especially as presented in the roadmap and of course we can look at the integrity and capabilities of the people behind the project but then again there is still no assurance of success as there had been well-laid projects that eventually failed to strike a spark in the market  so became just useless and then died. Of course, we have to do our due diligence but it is not enough so sometimes I think that after looking at the good factors to consider we have to wait for some luck. Remember that with so much competition in the market for the same category many project are finding it hard to gain some solid traction and that is why many eventually decided to just let the project float leaving many investors scratching their heads in disbelief.

This is the first time I have looked closely at this coin, and I think it has good potential and is worth adding to one's portfolio.

Yeah, I still remember those days. The whole crypto space were shocked and can't believe that it's really possible. This only means and a proof that a fundamental analysis is really working in trading, not only technical analysis. If you barely check the forex factory about the news like CPI and then you check at the chart by the time the CPI was occur you can see a big volume mostly the price goes down. I know that it still working to trade using only the price action but it really increase the probability when you apply the fundamentals in your trade.

Was VeChain price still low in that year, friend, if you compare it to now, how many percent has it increased?!  2018 until now has been approximately 5 years, you should have made a profit. 
But unfortunately I don't know this coin very well, and I also didn't have time to invest in it.

True, anyone that understands a token with real utility would understand Vechain is Building something incredible. They just ventured into Rwa, unlocking about 16trillion rwa opportunity by digitizing assets. And like you mentioned vet just onboarded into Bitget spot market. It's something I'll definitely look at.

I don't usually see there real-world use cases, because many new and little bit old projects don't have the real product in their hands and they release there tokens, for example, in my time as Bounty Hunter, I was promoted for many projects, the count exceeds 500 maybe. And most of them don't have the real product and service in there hands but still they are promoting it. I sometimes wondered if they don't have the product in the market yet, and why they are paying us to promote their project? Although some of them were spam projects which I didn't know as I was also a newbie once.

Well, now the times have changed, people and VCs have become more mature now. So, it is easy to find a good project to invest in. Speaking of this VeChain token, never heard of it, or if did nothing coming to mind right now. But I checked it, token seems to be very old as of 2015 which ensure longevity and trust but lacks the potential, the ATH is very low, the narrative is not so good. Although partners are good, but those partners would already by out of the game and took the profit a long ago. If they are making new partnerships then its a go otherwise I don't like it. Don't take it as financial advice so DYOR please.

I completely agree with you on this point. I have seen a lot of old and new projects, but they are actually “just ink on paper,” as they say, meaning they are just ideas without any real tools or real need in the market.

With the exception of some old projects that have proven their existence and depend on actual needs in the market, I do not see any tokens that have real value or a real project. They promote very attractive ideas in the beginning, then after they collect money, they forget the project and leave, and the token remains without development.

But unfortunately I don't know this coin very well, and I also didn't have time to invest in it.

The price is still the same up to now and not much different from when it first appeared. It created an ATH earlier than bitcoin and when bitcoin went up it actually went down.
I don't see anything interesting about this Vet. I don't know if anyone is still holding it and hoping for a surprise when the season increases for bitcoin. It will definitely also increase, but will it pass the ATH made in 2021? It's hard to predict.

I'm concerned about the total supply of VET though, is there a burn mechanism included in their features to reduce supply? Other than that. Utilities wise VET is very solid. I completely agree with you on this point. I have seen a lot of old and new projects, but they are actually “just ink on paper,” as they say, meaning they are just ideas without any real tools or real need in the market.

With the exception of some old projects that have proven their existence and depend on actual needs in the market, I do not see any tokens that have real value or a real project. They promote very attractive ideas in the beginning, then after they collect money, they forget the project and leave, and the token remains without development.

I think it's the money that changes their motive, or their main motive is to get money rather than working on that idea. Overall old projects definitely proving themselves worthy of trust and that's why they have more potential than these new coins. As new coins no doubt can even give 100x while these old can't but the chances of losing it all is also 100x in new ones.

That's why I only look for those projects which have some real product in the market, not just the idea, because those platforms who only promtes there whitepaper and site without actual product or service are not worthy of investment of trust. The main factor that we should consider is the longevity of the product. Even if a person considering new tokens, they the thing that matters most IMO is partners and investors, as they mention them on website, you should research on them if they have good history, like in making profits then you can also do that.

Well it did have it's time, VeChain goes to reach it's all time high 3 years ago, and it's not that it went high during Bitcoin pump, just one of the few coins that goes up without the influence of Bitcoin. But after that, in the bear market, and up to know when some of the altcoins are booming, it seems that VeChain was left as it is a massive-87% down since it's last all time high. It could be a good project though, but underrated as investors are just looking for meme coins in the altcoin market. So admit it or not, it might have a hard time again, unless they have something new to offer. And this is the pattern for some solid altcoin market. Not saying that it will die to that effect, but there are project in the 2017 bull run that die and same in the 2021 bull run, all good projects but didn't get enough support from investors.
