Can I earn just by holding my Ethereum

I’ve been holding onto my Ethereum and Bitcoin cash for a while now, and honestly, I’ve been unsure about what to do with it. I know ETH is a valuable asset, but simply holding it doesn't seem like the best way to maximize its potential. Price has been flying up and down recently, but i'm bullish on it with the upcoming ETF approval, that is if it was approved it will be a plus for most retail holders like myself. Do you have any idea how i can make the most out of my holdings.

After the bitcoin the coin I trust the most in cryptocurrency is Ethereum. And I also think Ethereum will be the best choice for those person who want to invest in altcoin for long-term. So definitelyyou can earn by holding Ethereum in case of long-term investment. If you see new recently then Ethereum is also an approved ETF spot it is true that we haven't see that kind of huge pump on but it will effect on market for long-term so wait an see. You can also take the DCA strategy for long-term investment.

If not for anything, I'm bullish in ethereum because of ETF, it can only take time but it will definitely be approved and that means only thing, the institutional investors are going to be chasing after Ethereum like the way they are doing to Bitcoin which is going to result to high demand and a new all time high is going to be seen and that's where $10k is expected to come, that's going to be like a new journey of Bitcoin.

However, there is something that I don't like about Ethereum and that's the gas fee. I had an airdrop to claim last week on the network but the contract execution is hight and it was discouraging because what I'm going to be getting wouldn't be much again and I just have to abandoned it it, this is why Solana is winning despite been centralized.

As others have said, airdrop is one of the better options instead of just letting it sit in your wallet. There are a lot of newer projects that are offering airdrops if you stake on their pools and many people have earned decent amounts from airdrops alone. Again, be sure to pick the trusted platforms.

By just holding Ethereum you can still make a profit, because the price of Ethereum always rises from time to time.  But if we have the expertise to trade it, then I think it will be better and it will be quicker to make a profit.
In Cryptocurreny there are many ways to earn money, just holding may be one of people's choices here.  However, the more choices you have, the greater the potential for profit.

If you are really holding ethereum and bitcoin for a while now then you must know what is the nature and the
 behavior of crypto not just bitcoin and ethereum instead all cryptocurrencies that existing.
and upon your question? now that  Sport ETF have been approved then what can be yours in this situation?

But asking to be earning while holding then yes you are in a sure ball when investing and keeping your ethereum

Yes, you can earn money by just holding Ethereum because it's a good coin for long-term investment, as of writing this post, ETFs have been approved and the prices have increased a lot. And day by day, just like BTC the price of ETH will decrease and increase. The type of increment are expecting with ETH due to ETF approvals is not going to happen because they same expectations we had with BTC ETFs.

So I think ETH ETFs will follow the BTC ETFs pattern, and that is it will decrease its value for the first few months maybe and after that there will be a boom in the price of ETH and we will see it at $6000 and many people including me are also saying it can easily touch $10k target. Which according to me is a good option. And ETH is going to give you more returns in compared to BTC as it can easily give you 2x at CMP while BTC can't give you more than 1x at CMP.

Ethereum is one of the favorite coins besides Bitcoin as the first priority coin. By holding ETH for the long term, as long as we buy it during the bearish season when the ETH price is low, we will make a profit when the ethereum price rises. But the character of crypto is unpredictable and very volatile, this makes it difficult to get a fixed income from crypto.

that is when you can handle keeping them when there is a sudden chamgeof action , because never only look for the growing time as there is also sideways like the price will dumped after you bought them and we have seen than situation a dozen time and what people do? they panic sell and yeah they end up losing their chance to earn , if there is a sideways then better to buy more adding to your holding since ethereum is one of the strongest coin.

Umm... Ethereum is not going to make you a quick profit just by HODLing it. Neither will Bitcoin to be fair, unless you got into it very early and are one of the early adapters. So if that's not the case for you, then the answer is no, it's not going to be enough, and you'll need to add more Ethereum to your accounts.

Bitcoin Cash though, I'm going to be shameless. Sell your bags now and convert them to ETH maybe.

I think it would be correct to say, that all old altcoins is not going to help people earn just by holding. Many of altcoins still cost less than their ATH. Doubtfully that old altcoins value would double. Lets be honest to ourselves, old altcoins (like Ethereum, BNB, Stellar, Tron) and already old technologies. Progress killed chances of getting rich through them. Holding new altcoin will make person earn, but holding ETH will only make him earn couple of tens dollars from every 1 ETH.

Up and down is national behaviour of cryptocurrency. So after down it’s price will increase there has no doubt. We all know Ethereum is better currency there has no doubt. You bought Ethereum and holding that i think it is good job. Ethereum's position 2nd on cryptocurrency market. It is more familiar and popular coin. Huge investor invested on Ethereum. I think who are holding ethereum he will be profited today or tomorrow i strongly believe it.
So i will tell you did absolutely correct job there has no condition. I think you will be profitable from this investment.

Great advice, and I always do this. when there is a sideway I will buy more coins and hold until the market goes up again. Ethereum is one of the favorite coins to hold, so this is also part of the coins I buy sideways. It looks like the market will experience sideways this time because Bitcoin seems to be having difficulty exceeding the previous ATH.

However, if the amount is only a small amount, then it won't be that much of a prize. Because, usually the staking APY does vary, but maybe it won't be too much. So, you also have to know which is the most recommended platform for staking, which is safe, reputable, and also worth the rewards.

Staking is good if we hold coins for the long term, while waiting for us to earn income. but if the assets we participate in in the staking program are small, the results will also be small. but it's still better to have results than none at all.
