I am sorry if I repeating anything but I want to know this,
The screenshot below I have already marked the stars, may I know why these stars are given in to some specific topic? I know it will be something like good topics shorting, But I want to know on what basis these topics are getting stars.

It's something like a rating to a topic where maybe an admin, president or v-president can only give such ratings in an specific board.

This is rating of that topics. good rating means quality topic/project you know. The president and vice president give these ratings if the quality of the project is good. you may find that some signature or bounty campaigns are also rated as such.

From the screenshot it looks like the rating can be given on any topic. The 2 in the screenshot are not bounty or signature campaigns, so I would assume it just has to be a quality discussion going on within a topic right?

actually I thought that is just a normal but now that you pointed this it looks like there is a limited thread that has this stars icon on it .

But I think lets see what the Admin and the Presidents and Vice to give their answers here for this is what we are looking here.

From that list you will find Average rating and total votes. Therefore, I do not think that admin or the president are the only ones who vote, it could be DT members or mods.

It's the rating system that was introduced by the admin, to give a rating to a campaign, according to the performance maybe. Some bounties have more ratings while others are lesser, it might depend on different factors, I was unable to find that topic where it was discussed before, i think mods and admin can give ratings accordingly, but on what factors hard to tell right now. If you will visit the bounty section or signature section, you will see all of them have this rating setting on.



The photo you have shared is of a suggestion box section, where people share their opinions and suggestions, so I assume, better suggestions liked by the admin will have some ratings, the ones with no ratings might mean those were not good suggestions. Only the admin can shed more light on it now.

Do we have DT members here? I have not seen it before. And I think the rating is within the staff in the forum. And in last few weeks I saw Coinomize.biz was having  4 (🌟🌟🌟🌟) Stars but in the following week I saw that the 4 Stars have reduced to 3 and MixTum.io which was having 3 stars now have the 4 star. So I think the rating is base on weekly performance. Though I don't k ow how they are rating it.

I noticed the stars in some posts but I was never been able to rate any post, so I guess this is only available for admin and maybe moderators.
I don't want to see star rating in all posts and from all members, this could create fake ratings and abuse, and give fake 'trust'' image to everyone.
It would be interesting to hear what admin have to say about this.

Maybe it's for the official stuffs in this forum. Because I don't any users like hero , legendary members are able to give the rating. And I also think that these kind of permission was good at limited permission Because I also think that if this kind of ability is given to everyone, its abuse will increase.

DT members do not exist on this forum, nor does a feedback system like the one on the BTT forum exist - the only thing possible is that after some kind of trade admin adds feedback to the participants in the trust. Some have not yet realized that this is not an identical copy of the BTT forum, many things here work in a completely different way.

I like some things here, some others on BTT, but it's hard to expect any forum to be perfect, because there are always those who won't like something. Some teleported members still think that karma works the same as merits, which of course is not true - and as for the abuse of DT, it is not only the fault of those who do it, but the whole system that does not punish them for it. The system is well designed, but it depends a lot on the people who need to maintain it to make it fair.

And we have so many green trust for "he is a nice guy" lol. Clearly an abuse , but that is like abused by so many dt members there...

Back to topic: those stars are not well explained imo.

I would rather see the number of positive karma in a topic than those stars...

I think they should be completely removed if they stay in current format.
If admin can introduce some change and add more members option to rate topics with star than they can stay in forum.
I agree that adding some karma count would be much more fair.
