Statistically, the crypto community is usually dominated by Male and this is backed by many publications indicating about 70% of the crypto community is made up of male demographic...

However, these phenomena seems to be blown out of the waters when it comes to the higher echelons in the crypto landscape and this is particularly evident in the fact that women are behind two of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges.

Both former television hosts, Binance’s Yi He and Bitget’s Gracy Chen currently lead the world’s largest crypto exchanges by volume. In a blog post published on May 21, Gracy Chen, CEO of crypto exchange Bitget, detailed her journey leading an exchange that facilitates $4 billion in trading volume.

The whole cryptocurrency is open to anyone regardless of gender, race or financial status...in ft I would say that this is an equalizer industry but we know that this industry is made up by men in majority position. I am sure that women can thrive here as they too possess many talents, skills and the leadership required to scale up their presence in answer to different opportunities available. While the two women above can be a great encouragement for other women, for now I don't see that the disparity between participation of women and men can easily be bridged within at least five years. Perhaps we should know what makes men more attracted to cryptocurrency compared to women...and then we can easily tackle to close this divide once and for all. One reason for this is that more women are risk averse compared to men...and since the cryptocurrency industry is full of risk we can't a lot of women to be here. Another reason why crypto is a male-dominated market is its direct connection to the male-dominated finance and technology industries though we can see some growing interest of women on this area. Now, we can't force women to get involved with cryptocurrency related business if they don't want to...what is important is that there is a fair field laid for them in case they want to take the journey to the "moon" with us. Should we tell our mothers, sisters, girlfriends and female friends to get into crypto as we need them here?

I read that women are the predominant consumers and that's why I don't think the numbers would change anytime soon. As an experiment, try to ask some random girls/women you meet and ask if they know what bitcoin is.

As a side note, I hope you're not part of a group that's low key promoting some CEX.

From your assertion, you are trying to make a general statement irrespective of the fact that you are shilling for your organisation because that is what I could sense from this post. All the same, Gracy running the affairs of a big crypto exchange does not mean that the females as are much into Crypto.

I  actually do not know about your country where you are from but in my country you hardly see a lady talking about crypto not to talk of knowing or having the knowledge about what Bitcoin is. If you see maybe just a few of them and still they are not too confident about it and would rather prefer getting themselves engaged with other activities rather than taking their time to know more about it.

I believe in the nearest future, with time, the development in Crypto and the current waves of telegram Crypto adoption the females would get along.

Women should have entered the Crypto space a long time ago but I believe there are now more women investing in Cryptocurrency just as many are also into investing in other assets, there are conservative countries where women have limited roles in many industries but times are changing now women controlled the finances of the family or they are partly to decide.

Men will still have the big numbers but I see more women thriving in the Cryptocurrency industry because they can compete with men in any position, especially when it comes to money matters.

That's true..I personally know some few good female traders like myself in the crypto space and I wish more could get the idea. Maybe in the next 5years.. also it depends on the country you're from. In some, the equation is also equal..

When it comes to number of crypto users then without any doubt males are more in number as compare to females but we still can't ignore the fact that females are also playing their role as part of crypto community.

We know some of the females who have made great stuff for crypto community while a few of those still don't want to reveal their identity because they don't want others to know that how contributive they are. I believe females play important role in our lives as similarly they play important roles in crypto community as well.

Prior to the first major bull run in 2017, you could make the argument that crypto was mostly dominated by men, nerds, programmers, geeks, people who were terminally online at forums and mailing lists etc.

But since then, the floodgates have really opened and now everyone is rushing to be a part of crypto, no matter what gender.

So I don't think the gender gap exists anymore.

I'm just not one of those people who will turn my head the other way, write x posts a day and pretend that I don't see when someone uses dirty tactics to bring some miserable company which obviously has no money for normal promotion into the focus of discussion.

The growth of cryptocurrencies is very rapid, and this is no longer a taboo subject in society. Not only young people like it, many older people are also interested in getting involved in Cryptocurrency. 
Likewise, many women are now starting to enter this business, they are starting to learn about investing here, learning to trade, and many are even becoming Airdrop hunters. 
And as far as I know, now more and more women know and are here and this is a good sign.

I searched online portals on this topic since few days ago where i see that there are many women doing well in crypto space. Some have shown a positive attitude towards crypto as an employee of an organization and some for business purposes. Women are serving as CEOs of several major investment platforms. I have seen many female entrepreneurs working on crypto. Also learned about Binance and Bitgate in one of your posts recently where women have a large contribution. This figure will continue to increase in the future.

The crypto industry is open for everyone and anyone can take part in it to enhance the value of their money and earn extra money through using their skills and knowledge. Crypto is not only for male but there are a large number of females who are entering the crypto market and the numbers of female crypto enthusiasts are increasing as time passes.

Those women who are already a part of the crypto community are working with greater efforts and are an example for other women that they are not bound and are free to do anything according to their desire and efforts. Male are dominated in the crypto industry but females are also participating in the crypto fields and are admirable because everyone should have the opportunity to show their skills.
