Actually, we don't really know whether Trump really supports Bitcoin/crypto or he only wants to gain attention from the community of crypto industry. If he can get a support from people who love crypto, it should increase his chance to be elected as the next president of USA. And even he really supports crypto industry, his mind can be changed when he is already a president of USA. It is because of many things to be considered if he want to make a policy as a president of USA. So, it is difficult to trust Trump. However, Trump is better if Joe Biden is likely not supporting crypto. Not sure it is caused by Biden or not, but SEC becomes aggressive in the era of Joe Biden.

Trump did not support BTC when he was US president, but that is completely normal because he needs to protect the value of $ in the economy. Over the past few years, Trump has been deeply involved in the crypto market, issuing many NFTs and especially accepting crypto campaign donations. To me, Trump is the person who can bring a difference to crypto, especially a new and better legal status if he becomes the next president of the US.

Biden also doesn't hate crypto, I think Biden doesn't care about crypto, but he received unwise advice from his advisors so he chose the anti-crypto side. Things seem to have changed and we have seen the SEC approve the Spot ETF, but it may be too late as Trump is ahead of Biden in terms of using crypto policy to gain support from crypto investors and companies. I really hope that Trump will win to have a chance to implement his promises and plans for crypto.

Hopefully it's true, Trump supports crypto not only because there will be the next presidential election.  Because honestly, I never believe what politicians say because what is eternal is interests.  They aim to gain votes from the increasing number of crypto lovers in their country, the US.  If they think about technology, long ago they should have had regulations regarding crypto and legalized it.

Will Trump win if he will not use cryptocurrency? If yes, then why he is always saying it on all of his campaigns? I mean not all, but most.

Trump is just using cryptocurrency to increase his popularity. He knows that there are many people in US that are into crypto, and he wants to manipulate those people by stating positive things that are related to Bitcoin. There are times where he is an anti-crypto and now, he can't keep his words, and turning against it already? Not a fan of politics overall, but always take note that there will be and always be people (specifically those senators) that will be against him and all of the things that Trump wants to implement.

Well, I guess he's the clear favorite to win in this election. They don't want that dementia-filled Biden anymore as OP said.

Hmm, the same news was shared in our local community, a few days ago, and as far I know it was at the same time the OP you shared here, Anyway, I will comment the same here, this pro-crypto is just a type of election campaign to attack the vote back which is highly involved in the crypto activities at the end of the day he won't put efforts in forcing the crypto-related policies. Haha, I don't care if he does use it for elections or not if he or anyone else is going to give some better opportunities in the crypto market and in regulation, I will support him I know words are conflicting but it was my political opinion above and here is my general opinion.

For the rest as I don't have anything to do with the politics of other countries let's watch the show and developments on board.

Everyone can easily make promises in their campaigns, obviously this is to attract support from various levels of society. We know that the cryptocurrency industry in the US is still relatively gray, so taking advantage of this chaotic moment to get support from the cryptocurrency community in the US is quite an effective way to gain votes.

Sweet promises are always made during the campaign period, which means that when it comes to realization, sometimes there is still the possibility of lies. I don't hate Trump, but I learned from the political techniques used by some people in my country to get votes to be elected president.

There is no need to listen to what someone who is campaigning says, just observe what he has done. If he really cares sincerely about the crypto community, then there must be actions that have been proven before.

I cannot speak that much about Trump as a president since I am not from there but I can speak how he's impact with the international community. Many did really liked him. ANd with this relation to his coming back for the reelection of the POTUS, he's solely speaking as a campaign guy with that number he has mentioned on how many crypto folks are there. I think it's double meaning but more of a politician thing every campaign speech.

and if trump truly will support Bitcoin and will be re elected then this will face a good future for bitcoin in the near future as we knew that US is one of the country that strict in terms of bitcoin and its use so we will have a ally if Donald trump wins  and if this will come true then we may expect more growth than what we have experienced over the last president.

I admit that trying to block self-custody sounds a lot like a way to try to control everything and possibly put your hands in people's pockets
so this thing really sucks

Not an Us citizen, so I don't really care who wins, but as a crypto user who understands how much it will influence the crypto market, I also think Trump is a better choice, I mean crypto is already legal in the Biden era, so I won't say Biden is harm to crypto investors, As Biden is a smart dude, he did not ban it, he comes up with ways to use this crypto sector for his own benefits, like to fill the national funds, they are implying taxes, they are seizing every crypto platform who disobeys the rules and seizing there funds and they are collecting these funds for national reserves. I won't say why they need that much money, I mean they are literally giving away million of dollars and billions of dollars on unecassrory war, and these war are killing innocents.

Point is, both are good candidates, and I don't know why I get the feeling that if Biden remain the PM then he will comeup with more taxes, and strictness and he can also try to take over people's BTC. But if Trump becomes the PM he will also come up ways to gather funds from crypto users, like in terms of tax etc. But he won't be adding those in national reserves but he will be adding them in his own pockets.

I was saying the same thing but people think I don't like him and I was what's my business if he win or lose? I'm after Bitcoin reputation and his manipulation on using Bitcoin to campaign is just a mere statement that he will forget very soon after the election, just like the way Biden used the black community for protest and all were disappointed later.

The high we let them do their thing and avoid Bitcoin, the better but it seems a lot of people most especially the institutional investors want it main stream but they don't know that the government doesn't give a damn about what they don't control, it wouldn't be seen as they really wish.
