Politics should not get into crypto all that much, if Trump promises to be more kind to bitcoin, that is lovely but we have seen Biden period to have ETF approval on his term as well, which is lovely, so for both cases its lovely. If you want to elect someone (which I won't because I am not American, I am just suggesting), there are vastly more important stuff in the world going around than just bitcoin. If you base your voting on bitcoin itself, then you are making a big mistake, and I would say that we shouldn't d that at all. We should look at a lot more important stuff and make our decisions based on that.

If a candidate asking for your vote says in his campaign speech that he plans to push for laws that will close down all centralized exchanges and crypto-fiat P2P in your country because he thinks it's bad for the economy, would you honestly think of anything else why not to vote for him?

That would be an automatic no for me. No other campaign promises, that might be good, matter after a speech like that.

Exactly, and I remember that when Trump gets elected, he surrounded himself with so called crypto friendly individuals and then put them in a good position in the government.

But nothing happens, and then they just come and go. And if ever he will be re-elected again, the same thing might happen again. And it's obvious that this election time so he and other candidates are going to make promises that will make voters like them as so called pro-Bitcoin, pro-crypto. I don't sure with politician promising at election campaign moment because most of them promised bullshit thing and impossible happening after success winning the election one day later.
Donald Trump know well with cryptocurrency community in his country and get many vote when promising bitcoin or altcoin become legal transaction one day later in United State. As happening right now, in a speech to the Libertarian Party's National Convention in Washington, DC, the former 45th President of USA Donald J. Trump laid out his many plans and promises for the country if elected once again this coming November to be the 47th POTUS.

Among the many things he discuss is Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, saying "I will ensure that the future of crypto and Bitcoin will be made in the USA" and "I will support the right to self custody to the nations 50 million crypto holders" which of course resonates with many libertarians in the audience.

In between the two leading candidates - the dementia-filled Joe Biden and the still energetic and funny Donald Trump - people are now slowly realizing that the two administrations are so different and that they were better off four years ago under DJT despite, of course, the supposed flaws with his personality.

I believe that Donald Trump is a lot better candidate and can be working great for the cryptocurrency industry if given another chance to be in White House again.

Well I believe that the Americans aren't like the Africans who gave promise and never stand on their own words according to how it was promised.
I could remember years during election how the candidate made some promises and never stood on his promise today he denied of having said those things he said to fixed up after having sworn as president. Donald trump could use this as a political strategies to buy the heart of the youth knowing too well that the word has changed in the last four years of his leaving so, he felt that using cryptocurrency and Bitcoin which is the latest happening would make him gained back his power back to sit as President. Such as making crypto a vehicle that is expected to get a lot of attention.
Donald Trump knows what he has to do to defeat Biden, so trump uses crypto as a mainstay weapon.

But if he breaks his promise when he actually becomes the new president, people will no longer believe him.

And yes, the appeal of Trump is that leaving freedom intact is very important.

Trump DOES NOT CARE about crypto and to prove this point, even the libertarians were booing him so hard at the event that he literally said something like "You know what, you can keep finishing with 3% of the vote forever" or something like that.

Sure, maybe it will get a little better - but that is for the US business (i.e. exchanges, miners) only, not for you and me. They are going to keep attacking crypto even in a second Trump administration.

That will be if Trump wins the US presidential election behind bars because he has been found guilty of the 34 charges against him on hush money.

The fate of crypto is not certain not to be under regulation by the US government. If peradventure Trump finds his way to be the US President, that wouldn't minimize the strict law the US government has over crypto. I see the law to crypto remain the same, not to be changed under Trump.

That's a positive sign for the upcoming policies of the government towards the crypto market regulation and development. Well.. yeah? Are we joking or was this a serious question you asked? So you think that giving 4 years of ruling a nation is as simple for you as "I will not be against crypto development"? Thats it, four years of controlling the budget, four years of military actions, four years of tax breaks for wealthy and harsh situations for the poor, four years of basically doing whatever the hell he wants, and what he does doesn't just represent the four years, he can appoint judges, from small circuit to as high as supreme court as senate and so forth, basically Trump era will continue in its impact way after he is done. And only thing that will make you vote is... he likes crypto? I am sorry but its not that easy to get my vote with such a simple sentence (not that I am American anyway, so it doesn't matter to me what he says).

If I believe that one candidate will be amazing for my nation but terrible for crypto people here, versus a terrible person but likes bitcoin, then I would pick the good guy who hates crypto, while crypto will be terrible in my nation, but at the very least the country will get better, if I pick the other one then crypto will be fine, but the nation will go down the drain. If the US makes crypto easier to accept and stick with, the industry will be able to grow to a unique level in the future. The hostile behavior we have seen from the SEC in recent times could be a good solution if he can win again. Those who are under restrictions including XRP, Binance may also get the right solution. But how much will be difficult to understand until it actually comes.
