Since I got here I have been visiting the forum frequently but I don't really understand or know where to look at, I have experience with other forums but here I feel so confused with all the features and the user interface of this forum. So does anyone else feel the same?

Of course, there should be time to adjust so I think this is what you are experiencing. But in any case that you are familiar with the other forum, then it will not take time as they are almost the same, they uses SMF theme.

If you are still confused then why not play around here and see how it goes for you. When I was starting on the other forum, that's what I did, go around and see what boards I like to view and commented. I even bookmark some of them. So it will take some time just like the rest of us, but for sure once you adapt and accustomed yourself here, it will be trouble free for you.

This is one of the reasons sometimes people make mistakes. But unfortunately, the admin expects all of us to be veterans. You may be aware of the recent drama that happened to me. I created an airdrop discussion thread in the airdrops section and he was too upset and gave me ten negative karma and moved the thread to the cryptocurrency discussion board.

I still believe that is not the correct board as well. It is a common mistake the user can make while they create threads. There are too many boards and it is possible to get confused with where it fits most. But the admin consider it as an offense. So, users have to be careful with their actions.

-10 karma is a huge penalty. The problem with penalties is that it may create a disincentive to create new topics.

You come from a cryptocurrency forum (Bitcointalk) which has lots of traffic and pretty good discussions, but why are you confused here? Is it just because the slight differences in UI/UX make you confused about understanding the writings here?

Keep in mind that everyone sometimes needs adaptation to be able to use the forum comfortably, but if you are already used to Bitcointalk, you shouldn't feel confused here... considering that both the sub forums and local boards here have some things in common. .. so you can enter the sub forum that is suitable for your knowledge.

Oh, I thought you already saw those topics. This is the thread that I created in the Airdrops and Giveaways board (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=321695.0). The admin saw this and got angry with me. He then moved it to the cryptocurrency discussion board and gave me -10 negative karma because he considered this an offense.

Everytime we get into new forum there is always confusing and digging because new place means new community and new approach but this does not took me a  month before getting into the forum.

I must tell you this is as good as the other forum you are pointing.

The arrangement of Boards in this forum and BTT are not the same and that is where newcomers from another forums confused because the way they visiting and clinking the Boards in those forum ls are different. Like in bitcointalk the first board is Bitcoin Discussion and other sub-boards follow up but here is different and there we have service and here signature campaigns. So there is a little confusion foe those who are just coming but at time goes on and if they are visiting the forum frequently then they will understand the boards and everything will be okay for them. Many of us also faced little problem in the first time when we came. But now we have mastered the forum.

You have to find your interest-based threads here. I mean the threads you were most active on BTT if there are relevant threads to those threads exist here then you must find them and you would not feel missing Although when I teleported my account I also was not very familiar with the layout and the rules of this forum like how things work.

So instead of making such a post (like this one you made), I thought back on BTT there were many new members and they didn't try to learn things instead they began to start to ask the question of where they could start. I used to reply them that they should first familiarize themselves with the forum so why I am not doing it. Once I figure it out I checked the forum related section, after that, I found out my interest based sections, after that I find out my local thread, after that I started to found more threads to increase my likeness about only few sections.

Op I also noticed the same thing like you but I am using my experience and knowledge in Bitcointalk to move around the forum here. And the only different I see here is the numerous Boards in this side.but careful study can make you to understand the forum very easy.

I also felt the same way when I first registered here, but as time goes on I started trying to see how I can navigate freely and understand the forum boards but it took me quite some time. It is a norm that when you get to a new place for the first time, you will not be used to the environment but as you keep on moving around and seeing things in the environment, you will get use to it. It is same with this forum. I was only posting in my local board and gambling initially till I got used to the forum.

It's normal. Most users experienced/felt the same when they newly came into the forum. It will only take few days to master everything properly just like in your other forum, so you can contribute here.

I don't understand what kind of problem you are suffering from! Because the structure and structural content of this forum is very simple. If you are using btt forum then there is no problem to use this forum. Because all features of this forum are exactly like btt forum. We all teleported here and visited our locations ourselves. I think you haven't visited this forum well enough now so you are having trouble understanding this. On the other hand all the sectors of this forum are divided separately so you can easily understand.

If you are talking about spending most of the time on BTT then you will definitely find it hard to adjust here. But with time you will find peace with this forum as well. I also was a bit feeling strange to be active here but with time I got adjusted like the many others and you will be as well. If you don't know what to do here then you must ask yourself we can't help you.

I mean, why you want to be here in the first place, if you think you are getting enough information and attention from Bitcointalk then you should remain there, but if you have moved here then you must have something on your mind, find that out, clear your vision, and be contributing. With time you will find out that this forum also have a lot to offer.
