Airdrops are not guaranteed.

Personally,  I have never received a significant airdrop since 2017.

A received forks and some 0.1 - 50 usd eth airdrops, but never more than that.

In fact, I had received 1000 usd airdrop for making a contribution to bitcoin github.com,  but that is a different situation... it was TIA token (which skyrocketed more than 20x since I sold)

Anyway , I am not luck neither have the patient to spend/stake hundreds of thousand dollars to maybe receive something.

Dogs Airdrop update!
At first there was ruomor that Dogs is supported by Telegram devs and Notcoin. But nobody knew if it's true or not. But Dogs recently collaborated with Notcoin and it's owner Pavel. Notcoin just posted on their Telegram channel saying "It is coming 🦴️", However, Dogs also collaborated with Blum, Binance, OKX as well. So, I assume it is going to be a Good project. Miss at your own risk!

I think most of telegram users involved in this project. I also think telegram owner related in this project. Gogs already listed on a exchangers pre market. I think this project will be successful. I also hope we will get some profit from dogs project.

We saw many renown exchanger and project collaborated dogs project, like Binance, blum and oks. So i hope somethings coming good for us.

If you have capital, staking/lping is good way to receive airdrops tbh, do your research on project (so they don't take your funds and go away), stake and if they don't do airdrop, just withdraw your money.

$PRCL, $JTO, $EIGEN are good examples of this and $SWELL which is yet to launch token, looks good too.

I would say my first significant from a free airdrop was Notcoin. I got like $500 without investing a single penny which motivated me to work on airdrops. I got $350 worth of Blast tokens as well and the profit was around $200 if I am not wrong. But I decided to hold them and the value of these tokens decreased a lot.

I got some other airdrops like ATH, and some other random tokens. But all of these tiny tokens may worth $100 together. I also made some money from Centralized exchanges airdrops by doing some tasks. Do you use centralized exchanges?

I use centralized exchanges

I received about 2-3k usd from binance referral,  but basically nothing from airdrop. About 20-30 usd maybe from binance learn, a few years ago.

Binance is a shitty exchange. They give only a few dollars like 5 to 10 for tasks. But recently Lista Airdrop participants received around 22 dollars. Probably they are giving good amount only in Web3 airdrops. Other centralized exchanges like Bybit, bitget, bitwaget wallets offers airdrops which is pretty good. I have participated in bitget wallet airdrops and received $30 for each airdrops. Bybit also has token splash which is another kind of airdrops. IDO also distribute good amount of money to their participants.

Imo, instead of trying to catch those airdrops of 5-30 usd (that requires time, kyc, some money, etc) it is much better to use that time to participate in the forums.

We can make much more money here and in btt. Just by participating in campaigns,  reviews, giveaways, etc... building a good reputation too

Well, we are doing that already. 

If someone is already KYC'ed in those centralized exchanges, they don't really have nothing to lose right now. They already compromised their privacy and if they have some free time even after participating in signature campaigns and other forum related things, they can still try those offers. Of course I do not suggest to invest anymore and it's not a financial advise. I still see telegram community admins making thousand of dollars just from referral links while regular users make $5 to $10 from each airdrops. If you have a good community that follows you, you have a big opportunity to make money.

I must say that you are absolutely right, simply based on my personal experiences so far, the current means through which  project teams giveaway tokens to people in the form of airdrop isnt really an airdrop anymore, nor giveaway either, airdrops of nowadays requires performing certain tasks, and completing those tasks takes a great deal of participant's time, I can categorically tell you that I was fully involved in telegram tap to earn/farm to earn aidrops, but right now, I am beginning to withdraw myself bits by bits because, couping with those mini apps and other activities is becoming really challenging, and worst of all is that, the reward we get for the time spent on those tapping and farming apps isn't really worth it at all, imagine spending months tapping and completing tasks on a daily, only to get some tokens worth $5 to $10 at the end of the day, that's crazy.

First the days of bounties and airdrops are over and at that we need to accept the fact that, the remaining airdrops and bounty is just gambling, and majority of them will never reward their participants and those that reward them are pee nots, far from earning anything tangible so for that we need to choose which airdrop to waste our time on and which one to avoid.

Most time the admin, dev teams are the core beneficiaries of the project since the take a all the money and walk away in most cases leaving the bounty hunters to do free advertisement and marketing for them.

Yes I noticed this as well. Telegram admins or moderators makes good cash from airdrops as a result of their referrals bonuses they get from the community members who registers through  their referal link. If as a community moderator, you have a large number of followers, they can give you some good cash based on referal deal agreement  between the organisation and them but however, some just have it fixed there for all to  see for themselves while they keep referring their community to such project.

A project being a good project doesn't mean that it will give free money to those who participated.

I mean the mere fact that many can join is already a sign that we will only get at least a dollar for participating. I'm not against these Telegram Apps that are launching their airdrops because they are giving free money to all participants, but the fact that it can be oversaturated because anybody can register and can use multiple account is already enough for me not to join to these because it's not worth it.

At the end of the day, I'm not discouraging all participants of these kinds of airdrops. Continue joining to them. Just lower your expectations and don't spend too much time on them.

I agree that oversaturation is the issue because there is no restriction as long as you have the time and can do the task you can, so with as many accounts as you can, the numbers that were shown in the community are not really accurate, There are many greedy participants,, and yu become one if there are no restrictions.
One of the risks here is if the airdrop gained popularity without restrictions to participants, its likley the value of the participants is not something that's worth it.
They really don't care about the participants all they care is the popularity of their platform.

The major target and focus of organisations is centred on getting the attention they deserve that is, they being popular in the field and beyond their horizons. With this in mind they recruit airdrops and other activities to making sure their name and image goes viral in the space which implies they putting up incentives or rewards for their services. 

I believe they do care because if they don't, the community they have already built through the airdrops could cause them their reputation. Do not joke or play with the power of the crypto community. They made your project get popular and they can destroy it within minuites. It would not cost them anything to do so.

I agree that oversaturation is the issue because there is no restriction as long as you have the time and can do the task you can, so with as many accounts as you can, the numbers that were shown in the community are not really accurate, There are many greedy participants,, and you become one if there are no restrictions.

When the door is very much to anyone with some very minimal qualifications, we can expect so many participants and since there can be a fixed percentage for the airdrop at the end the people who joined will be receiving coins not really worth in value to their time and effort. And this is not something new as we also witnessed the same thing with the ICO bounties years ago...but then again since it is 100% to join sometimes I think that complaining especially on my part may not be necessary and we just accept whatever that might be released for us. I am just really thinking: is this really worth of my time and effort considering that I am not good in referring people?
