I have searched if there are any threads here about Rabby Wallet and it seems there are none. I was using a metamask for my daily use. But for me, the meta mask works too slowly. Recently, I found out about Rabby wallet which works exactly like a meta mask but faster, and it has some extra features as well.

The Rabby wallet shows your balance across all the blockchains, which is not possible in metamask. Moreover, if you lock your balance on a website, it will be deducted from your wallet, and if you forget the website's URL, you cannot find where you staked your balance. However, the Rabby wallet has a unique feature. It will show where you have staked/locked your money. Check the screenshots below.

For example, these 700 dollars are not in a single chain but in all chains.

Rabby is much better wallet for ethereum and all other evm chains than metamask.
I like that you can install Rabby on desktop (not possible with metamask), use it as browser extension or download app for mobile devices.
Another advantage for Rabby I found is better support for different hardware wallets.

Do the approval tabs mean it also tracks which approvals exist for your address and we can manually remove each one of them? A built-in tool to revoke a contract? Sounds very useful. If I remember it correctly, Metamask doesn't have them, does it? What if I import my wallets, will it automatically track which platform I stake my ETH/altcoin? I might test this one on my old laptop.

         -   So that means it is better to use this Rabby wallet compared to Metamask? What is better, to download the rabby wallet on the desktop or put it in the Chrome extension? It seems that it is preferable to use the Rabby wallet because I agree with you that it has features that are not in the Metamask.

Of course, if Metamask is the best softwallet in crypto for me, then if it is the best and better than the best, I will use it. Although metamask is also okay, this time I will start exploring it in the Rabby wallet. Thanks, Op, for sharing it here.

@Learn Bitcoin, I'm just wondering if this wallet shows the private key in some basic mode, as seen in the example, or do you still have to do something to "reveal" the private key? I ask because it doesn't seem like a very smart feature considering that some users like to take pictures of things they shouldn't and then save them where they shouldn't or share them with others.

Actually, it is not the private key which I replaced with the red color but it's just my wallet address. It is written there probably because I have imported this wallet from my Metamask by using Private keys. But when I imported the same wallet on my laptop using the seed phrase, I noticed it is written seed phrase 1. So, probably it's the name or the tag of which wallet you are using at this moment. To reveal your seed phrases, you have to click on the address arrow, then manage address, and then backup seed phrase, and it will ask for your wallet password again even if it's already unlocked.

@Learn Bitcoin, Thanks for the explanation - although it didn't seem logical for me to show the private key in such an obvious way, I've seen too many crypto wallets that were full of illogicality. The way you explained it definitely makes sense.

Rabby is great, it's the one I use for all DeFi.

The biggest advantage over MetaMask is being able to simulate the outcome of each tx. If you're swaping wBTC for USDC, you can see how your balances will change with that tx before you sign it. Great to spot bad actors trying to wipe you out.

If the platform is supported by Debank, it will show up there with your positions. Pretty much all major platforms and DeFi projects are.

I only have seen this with a certain dApp that I forgot. It was quite a long time ago but it's not yet as mainstream as compared to something like Metamask. In a way, I think it depends on the user whether or not he wants to see his balance on all chains but of course, it makes it easier.

Yes. It is. Even you can select them all by chains and then apply to revoke all. But then you have to sign one by one and it will cost fees for each revokes. I hope you know that already. I don't know if metamask has this feature or not. I do not really explore wallets.

In my case, yes. It's started to show where I have stakes/locked my balance. I even forgot a couple of website URLs because the amount was too small. But, after importing my wallet into rabby, I figured out that I had money staked in some websites. LOL.

Yes. They support both Ledger and Trezor, Wallet Connect (so pretty much all erc20+forks mobile wallets), and even institutional wallets like Fireblocks.

I don't know if metamask has this feature or not. I do not really explore wallets.

Not directly on the wallet, but there are many interfaces that support MetaMask and allow you to view and revoke approval permissions easily (i.e revoke.cash).

For people who prefer using extension they also have that option but I don't recommend installing many extension in browsers.
Mobile Rabby wallet also exist but I didnt try how it works when connected with hardware wallets.

Sometimes at Metamask I have to change the RPC to be able to make a transaction
Is it easy to do this in Rabby? Does it do it automatically or do I have the option to change it?

I say this because I've seen people commenting on it, and as I use a lot of new protocols and networks, these problems with the RPC happen a lot

It's great Rabby available on many platform, but i get annoyed with fact it doesn't support Linux (desktop version) or Firefox (extension version). As for those who prefer extension in general, they could try using different profile or different browser (such as Chromium or Ungoogled Chromium) to use Rabby more securely.

Yeah that sucks, but you could probably built it yourself from source code that is posted on github.
If you don't know how to do that than use it as extension with Firefox/Liberwolf or Brave browser, that is a bit better than regular chrome browser.
Someone should ask them to add DEB file and support for Linux.
