The idea was to create something as privacy enabling way for people, I don't think there is a need to hide when his intentions were clean, he was practically doing his thing to improve privacy and was used to laundered money as the government claimed and not like he did it intentionally, who will even want to do something that will land him in jail in the public.

Read more about the case, and I can see why Alexey Pertsevis is receiving so much support from the crypto communities; it looks more like me being jailed for creating firearms for the public while the person who actually committed a murder with the gun was freed.
