Both make it, Teo Lopez at 139.4 lbs. and Steve Claggett at 139.5 lbs

Gonna be a good fight, in the next couple of hours, I do think that Teo will dominate Claggett from early on and will get a knockout win. So best of luck to those who are going to bet on this fight.

I hope that Teo will KO Claggett in this fight as i have backed the former to win via knockout.

Unfortunately, there was no knockout win by Teo, as it went to the judges scorecard and we all fall for a Teo knockout win. The scores though were a bit controversial, 120-108, 120-108 and 119-109. I thought that Claggett did better in the first half of the fight and could have won 3 rounds as least in the first 6 rounds. Right, when he went up to 140 lbs, we hasn't seen Teo having had the knock out reels that we have seen him at 135 lbs, like his fight with Campa and other great boxers at that division. It's good though that he won here in the judges card, but the card didn't reflect how tough Claggett is as the judges think that it was a total domination win by Teo which is not. I personally think that Teo could win by KO here very easily but we are all wrong and take a lost with the under 10.5 and a knockout win. And you can see what Claggett din to his face at the post fight interview, nose is swallow and so his eyes. Imagine if a power puncher like Pitbull Cruz can do to him if he goes for a unification fight with Cruz.

Reminds me though of Keith Thurman vs Josesito Lopez fight. We thought that Thurman will win by KO against Lopez, he did score a knockdown, but Lopez is very game and probably this is the fight that really shows Thurman's vulnerability and after that, he was never the same again.

And it's really a careful match making for Top Rank to be able to put Lopez now as their lineal champion. Just imagine if they decided for Josh Taylor to rematch Jack Catterall, they could have lost the belt and will not be in house for Top Rank. For sure, after he defeated Madrimov, Crawford is willing to go up as high as 168 lbs for a mega fight with Canelo and that makes sense for him as he is not also getting younger and should maximized his fights with big money because that's why he wanted to go before when he get out of the Top Rank contract.
