Italy are the defending champions from the last competition, they do not have any star players currently and seem to be underrated, but they play so well and may still win it.

It doesn't feel like we are already ahead of the EURO which will be held again after previously seeing Italy succeed in becoming champions.

It is not easy to predict who will be able to achieve success in this tournament, because every time this tournament is held, there are always surprises that they can show.

I myself want to see the teams that are considered dark horses give a big surprise, that will make this tournament more interesting.

As per recent odds, England is the favorite which is followed by France and Germany. I have no problem with that but I think Spain will remain as a threat. The defending champions are down to 6th @15.1

Germans are not performing that great lately, but having home advantage is not something to be ignored. They shouldn't have a problem advancing from the group stage, but I don't think they have what it takes to win the entire tournament.
I have a feeling that one of the underdogs could turn up to win it.

Italy has star players although they are not very famous. In the competition like Euro, the star players won't be the most important factor to win the competition. How the team to play solidly will be the main factor, it determines a team whether to win or lose the match. Sometimes, having too many star players just make the team to play more individually.

England and France are the most favorite teams to win Euro. But many people predicted that Portugal will win the Euro. If we look at the quality of the squad, England and France are the best teams. However, I can understand if people prefer to choose Portugal as the candidate for a champion because this team often surprises us.

From the last performance of England and Germany, I think one of them will carry the cup. Though in football we don't have to predict only for the strong teams and this what we did the 2022 world cup and those teams that we not doing well as we thought were playing very well in the world cup and Croatia was one of thr teams. So I think Croatia will do well I this Euro 2024.

No reasons in particular, I just forgot to mention their name. Germany are also contenders, And I have to believe this because there is a sort of motivation that playing in front of your home crowd will give you, I saw that in the African cup of Nations that just passed, Ivory Coast won it even though they did not start the competition as the strongest and favorites to win it. Their home supporters played a key role.

I have a feeling that one of the underdogs could turn up to win it.

Yeah, the motivation these players get from playing in front of the home crowd is something else. In the last Euro, I thought it was one of the biggest reasons why England made it to the Finals and almost won it all.

Netherlands are very underrated, not expected to win it by many, but they can win it.

The Dutch team are always one of the biggest flops in major tournaments back from the days of Arjen Ruben.

I am so excited with one week left before facing Euro 2024 matches, many top European national team will participants and I think Portugal has opportunity qualify until highest level round to semifinal. But has unpredictable in Euro 2024 because some national teams will more motivate playing and some players want to make their self get attention for getting interested from scout talent.

Indeed Portugal has France are favorite national team for winning Euro 2024, the last edition winner Italy seems not really favorite for winning Euro 2024.

Yeah, the motivation these players get from playing in front of the home crowd is something else. In the last Euro, I thought it was one of the biggest reasons why England made it to the Finals and almost won it all.

England failed to win their second friendly match against Iceland, and that either spells doom, or will be an eye opener, a call to sit up. The Euro's will be tough and I bet that we must have some unpredictable results and outcomes from some games. If England's coach fails to make the numerous talented players in the English team to play as a unit, a team, they will not be able to get to the semi-finals of this competition.

Few days more, all coaches need to get their strategy right.

Many favor England, although I think they are far from their glory days, maybe not only because they don't have good players, but because they have a coach who is not up to the task. Judging by the friendly matches, they don't seem too convincing, but I think the real strength will be seen only when the competitive matches start.

With so many strong teams, it's really hard to say who could be the winner, but I will support my team, which plays very successfully in the world championships, but they don't have much luck in the European championship. Therefore, I hope that Croatia will manage to pass perhaps the most difficult group (Spain, Italy, Albania) and then continue towards the semi-finals - and regardless of the victory against North Macedonia, today is a real test against Portugal.

For the favorite team I see the chance to win in this competition is France and Portugal while for England although they have many great players somehow always fail when in his own national team I am not sure for now England can finish in the final.

Definitely an underestimated team, regardless of the fact that they won silver and bronze medals at the last two world championships and played in the final of the League of Nations, which is a kind of European championship. Modric is a great legend who still plays at an enviable level, Gvardiol is one of the best defensive players in the world, Budimir is one of the best scorers in the Spanish league, Livakovic is an excellent goalkeeper, and many young players show great potential.

Yesterday, Croatia beat Portugal on their field, which says enough that they are extremely motivated to finally do something at the European Championship - I think that Modric is still playing for the national team just because of that.

Portugal passed on the favor to Ireland in their friendly game today; the game ended 3-0 to Portugal, with Ronaldo showing that he is battle-ready for the Euro competition by scoring a brace.

Friendly games are not a good judge of how a team will perform in a competition; they only give an idea. From what we saw in the Portugal game, Portugal is as ready as Croatia, and maybe the defeat to Croatia has increased their seriousness.
