Open-source Code: Transparency is crucial for trust in the crypto community. Our plan includes making the source code publicly available once certain milestones are reached. This is to ensure that the code meets high standards of security and functionality before wide release. We understand the importance of transparency, and detailed timelines for open-sourcing will be shared with our community and partners as they are finalized.

I question the transparency when it's been 6 years since BTQ genesis block mined.

If I had a quantum computer and was working in intelligence the first thing I'd set it upon is breaking SHA-256.

And what would you by breaking SHA-256? According to https://quantumcomputing.stackexchange.com/a/24332, it seems you can't reverse SHA-256 even with quantum computer.

BTQ - Aiming to be the Digital Gold and Quantum Resistant

BTQ not only inherits the stable economic model of Bitcoin but also significantly enhances it by integrating quantum-resistant technology, aiming to become the "digital gold" for the future. BTQ is striving to compete with BTC and other blockchains through technological improvements, particularly in minimizing the risk of hardware centralization. This not only strengthens sustainability but also enhances security, positioning BTQ as one of the leading cryptocurrencies capable of withstanding threats from quantum technology.

Special Airdrop Program During Early Development Phase

We are excited to announce three special airdrop events to express our gratitude and appreciation for the support and contributions of the BTQ community members. These events are designed to attract interest and increase participation from the community during our early development phase. Below are the details of each airdrop event, each with a specific purpose to encourage and reward actions that support the development of the BTQ community:

1. Airdrop for Members Contributing Useful Comments:

- Requirement: Contribute useful comments to the community on this post.
- Reward: The most valued comments will receive a BTQ airdrop.
- How to Receive Reward: Place your BTQ wallet address under your useful comment on this post.

2. Airdrop for Members Running Ads and Developing the Community:
- Requirement: Run advertisements or carry out community development activities on social media platforms.
- Reward: A larger airdrop amount for members who participate in these activities.
- How to Receive Reward: Post the link to your advertisement along with your BTQ wallet address on this post and send proof that you have carried out the advertisement or community development to email.

3. Airdrop for Members Who Write About BTQ on Other Platforms:
- Requirement: Write and post an article about BTQ on any other forum, blog, or website.
- Reward: Receive a BTQ airdrop for each qualifying article.
- How to Receive Reward: Post the link to your article along with your BTQ wallet address on this post.

We look forward to your active and meaningful participation in all three events. Join us and be a part of the BTQ community development journey.

Thank you for being a part of the BTQ community!

Thank you for your questions and the opportunity to clarify some misunderstandings about Bitcoin Quantum (BTQ).

Nobody here misunderstood anything about your quantum things or any other thing, our concerns were with 1/7 of the supply having been mined by you and that you will hold (unless you already sold) even in 12 years from now half of the mined coins, so if you compare it with Bitcoin you have at least 3 times more coins than Satoshi despite a 10x lower supply generation.

And again with the wall of text, you managed to avoid answering the questions while claiming transparency!

if quantum and AI are combined, then SHA-256 is easy problem.

AI is actually powered by the current information we have, so it's not like it can invent something we haven't tried since it doesn't have the knowledge for that, also even if an AI model would be able to cancel bad effects such as noise, it can't solve the physical problems of quantum computers.

Thank you for your pointed feedback, Stompix, and for everyone's engagement. It's clear we need to address the concerns about the distribution of Bitcoin Quantum (BTQ) more transparently.

Regarding the supply that has been pre-mined, it is indeed a significant portion. In the upcoming period, we will update our locked token policy to ensure the sustainable development of the project. This strategic reserve is intended to support project development, partnerships, and market stability. We are committed to having a locking plan and managing these funds responsibly to avoid sudden impacts on the market.

However, we acknowledge your concerns about transparency and will strive to better communicate our intentions and the mechanics behind our token distribution. We invite the community to review detailed explanations and future plans at our documentation site https://docs.bitcoinq.xyz/btq-tokenomics.

Regarding the use of quantum technology and AI, the_options raised a valid point. While AI does not create knowledge beyond our current understanding, it helps us optimize and improve existing solutions, which is valuable as we explore new technologies like quantum-resistant cryptography.

Stompix, you might consider creating a BTQ wallet and commenting on the post to receive an airdrop.

Once again, thank you all for your engagement. We welcome further discussions and are here to address any more questions you may have.

If I had a quantum computer and was working in intelligence the first thing I'd set it upon is breaking SHA-256.

What makes you think that when quantum computing technology works (everything that exists now is just prototypes) SHA-256 will not have adequate protection against quantum attacks? Technology travels in different directions, attack <---> defense, but for that there is still a lot of research needed and it takes a long time.

However, we acknowledge your concerns about transparency and will strive to better communicate our intentions and the mechanics behind our token distribution. We invite the community to review detailed explanations and future plans at our documentation site https://docs.bitcoinq.xyz/btq-tokenomics.

That information was very necessary, thank you. Can we know how many people are in the team and if they have participated in cryptocurrency-related projects before?.

i agree that all crypto should move to quantum resistant technology, u should remember that insurance companies were created only to protect you from risks that rarely happen to you, with a 99% chance they won't

if you own a large amount of cryptocurrency on major blockchains, is it a good idea to take the risk of waiting to see if quantum computers (or computer power) can break the SHA256 algorithm of Bitcoin or the algorithms of existing altcoins?
maybe a few people will like it, but i'm sure your wife, children, and even your mistress won't like it. because that's what really matters, right?

one thing to note is that you never know when the 23 years SHA256 technology will be cracked if quantum computers (computer power) are combined with AI, ML, biology tech ...  in the coming years. big players like Apple's iMessage have already moved to quantum resistance, and Google/IBM have set a goal of 1 million qubits, and more.... it's naive to think that Bitcoin will never have the ability to be cracked in the age of AI and quantum computing

At no point have I said that Bitcoin cannot be attacked in that way nor have I said that SHA-256 cannot be broken at some point. What I have said is that it will still take many years for that to happen and that when the time comes no one will sit and wait and do nothing, everything has its process to advance, and that supposed threat is still far away.

The machines that have International Business Machines Corporation, Intel Corporation, Alphabet Inc, Honeywell International and IonQ are prototypes and are not yet functional, and they are still far from being functional.

Will there be attempts to break SHA-256?. Yes, of course, and many other encryption algorithms, but not yet.

According to ..., it seems you can't reverse SHA-256 even with quantum computer.

if quantum and AI are combined, then SHA-256 is easy problem.

As I see, the pre-mining thing  is to check whether the system operates good or not. the website is telling that, the Nodes and the Pool will be opened after the ICO. By the way I saw this Telegram group . go check it out yourself. As for Discord, I don't see it anyway.

Don't worry, bro. Increase your interactions here, create a wallet, and wait for the airdrop. From what I can see, the coins have been mined and some have been withdrawn to the wallet. Let's wait and see if we really receive the airdrop.
