That's one, they wanted to diversify that's why they got altcoins, nothing bad about it, although if you have been in the market too long, you know that the risk is too high for this altcoins and only the top 10 is good for investment and not those meme coins or what is the crazy hype that is now  going in the market, like tap to earn.

I have invested on 1 in the last bull run and it did gave me a good profit. And some of the coins that you mentioned are really solid and it might still give us some profits like ETH which is still -50% from it's all all time high and could potentially hit a new one this bull run, so there is profit margin still, and from other top 10 coins.
