Chat GPTs 5k alt coin suggestions

I managed to interrogate chatGPT into giving me a list of alt coins for a 5k portfolio and some of them looks good. I don't think the likes of Cardano will do much but could be wrong. Any thoughts on below? The last time it suggested a coin it was a complete flop!

Using AI especially GPT is not a wise option to find coins to invest in. As AI uses existing data on the internet and utilizes it to give you a satisfactory answer so the list you are seeing must be taken from an article written by the title of Top 10 or 5 alts to invest in. It (GPT) picked the alts from there and added his own words to it. If you are using the free version then its more dum if not then only a dumb idea to pick alts from AI.

I might consider using AI bots specialized for Trading or other crypto stuff as there algorithm would be dedicated but in this case using GPT which is not a trading or crypto-dedicated bot, I will pass it. I suggest you test Bybit's AI bot which is built into there Exchange. I find it more attractive but allow me to give you a disclaimer as well that it was also not so accurate when I tested it.

I don't really know anyone who has made a lot of money from one although I know a guy who is building one and his crypto knowledge is absolutely insane. I can see day trading becoming flooded with bots and humans not really standing a chance. I hope that doesn't happen but I fear the writing is on the wall

I don't think that you need to look for chatgpt though, I mean you can do all by yourself, if you are just looking for a "potential" coin. And most of what has been suggested by AI is on the top list of crypto right now so it makes sense that it will blurted them out.

Those who are making a lot of money could have lost in the beginning as well. And they just recovered, learn from their mistakes and if they still have the money to invest and play then they will do it to target that bigger profits.

Honestly, in my personal and limited assessment since I am not an AI guy, this list is actually good and if one will be holding all of them for some years am sure the return can be good. I am just wondering why it is specifically excluding both Bitcoin and Ethereum which for me can also be good most especially in 2025. Now, if you will follow this recommendation, please tell us what would be your result eventually. Let's see if consulting with an AI platform on cryptocurrency investing can be good or bad....though admittedly this is actually an exciting thing.

For ADA, Polygon, and DOT, I don't think these prices are realistic. Maybe ChatGPT didn't know their current market cap and circulating supply. Lol. To be more realistic, these three coins will get to that value only if Bitcoin gets to $500,000 or $1 million USD.

No no no no, don't do that. Don't you know that ChatGPT has a knowledge cutoff at January 2022? Even GPT 4 has a cutoff somewhere around May 2023. So the data it is working with is severely out of date for financial purposes, so it is actually giving you updates based on price trends from two years ago. Don't fall into that trap.

I do not think this idea of yours is feasible. I can say it is very risky because AI can not guarantee you accurate information based on the Input of NotATether. If we are to go by that update, then the data given is not accurate and it is inappropriate for you to have done this.

AI as I know is basically for education and enlightenment which is not really designed for trading purposes except that of the trading bot used by traders for their trading either on exchange or their trading app.

If you feel the analysis given by the bot is okay, I would advise you take out time to do your own research on the listed coin to know how their market and price trends have been over the years so that you do not run at loss.

@irishbeast, @NotATether is absolutely right. Before you "ask" ChatGPT something, make sure when it was last updated, otherwise all the information you obtain will be obsolete. There are several sources to obtain that information, but the fastest and most reliable are the OpenAI developer forums.

I am using the paid version of ChatGPT and I don't see any setting or button to manually make it search the internet.

It seems that certain phrases in the query automatically trigger the internet search service. For example: "what is the weather in san francisco today" does a search, but something like "list the top 10 cryptocurrencies by expected future price" does not.

Why give it another chance to chatGPT when it flops the last time, it will have a repeat, and you will again lose money, you can use ChatGPT for suggestions but never take it as the financial advice that you will follow to invest, nothing beats analysis and looking at the coins or tokens closely, the AI just extract it from analysis where the source is not proven to be updated.
